MODULAR PHOTOCHEMICAL FLOW REACTOR SYSTEM
A modular photochemical reactor system comprises a plurality of fluidic modules (20) each having i) a central planar process fluid layer (30) and ii) two outer planar thermal control fluid layers (40) for containing flowing thermal control fluid and a plurality of illumination modules (50), the illumination modules (50) of said plurality each having a planar form with first and second major surfaces (52, 54) and each comprising at least a first array (60) of semiconductor emitters (70), said emitters (70) positioned to emit from or through the first major surface (52), wherein said first array (60) of semiconductor emitters (70) comprises at least a first emitter (72) and a second emitter (74), the first emitter (72) capable of emitting at a first center wavelength and the second emitter (74) capable of emitting at a second center wavelength, said first and second center wavelengths differing from each other.
CATALYTIC REACTORS COMPRISING DISTRIBUTED TEMPERATURE SENSORS
A catalytic reactor is provided comprising a plurality of first flow channels including a catalyst for a first reaction; a plurality of second flow channels arranged alternately with the first flow channels; adjacent first and second flow channels being separated by a divider plate (13a, 13b), and a distributed temperature sensor such as an optical fibre cable (19). The distributed temperature sensor may be located within the divider plate, or within one or 10 more of the flow channels.
Heat Exchanger
This heat exchanger (100) includes a core portion (1), a header portion (2), and an intermediate member (3), and the curvature radius of a corner (31a to 31d) of the intermediate member is configured to be smaller than the curvature radius at a header portion side.
REACTOR
A reactor includes a plurality of reaction side flow passages through which a reaction fluid flows, a catalyst (catalyst structure) disposed inside the reaction side flow passages to accelerate the reaction of the reaction fluid, a plurality of heat medium side flow passages which are alternately stacked with the reaction side flow passages, and through which a heat medium flows, and a suppression flow passage which is disposed adjacent to a surface of the reaction side flow passage, the heat medium side flow passages being not stacked on the surface, and through which flows a suppression fluid suppressing the heat dissipation to the outside from the reaction fluid flowing through the reaction side flow passage, or the heat transfer from the outside to the reaction fluid.
Catalytic reactor
In a catalytic reactor including catalyst carriers inserted into a plurality of channels defined by corrugated fins, the corrugated fins include a first corrugated fin, and a second corrugated fin arranged to adjoin the first corrugated fin. When viewed from the first corrugated fin toward the second corrugated fin along the channels, at least a portion of side walls of the second corrugated fin is located between two adjacent ones of side walls of the first corrugated fin at adjoining end faces of the first and second corrugated fins.
CHEMICAL FLOW-REACTOR
A chemical flow reactor comprising: a housing having an inlet and an outlet; at least one heat exchange pipe extending through the interior of the housing; a space defined between the interior surface of the housing and the outer surface of Gas Flow the at least one pipe, said space being in fluid communication with the inlet and the outlet; and a plurality of plates stacked within said space forming a stacked plate assembly between the inlet and the outlet, each plate comprising at least one hole through which the at least one pipe extends such that the at least one pipe extends through the stacked plate assembly. An active chemical, such as a catalyst, is disposed on each plate.
