An exit device is attached to the exit for exit of the paper pieces. The exit device extends along the length of the exit for collecting the paper pieces, has an opening for exit of the paper pieces, and includes a moving mechanism for moving the paper pieces to the opening.

Milling system

A milling system to comminute a material may generally include a hopper feeder system, a cutting mill, a collection system, each in fluid communication to provide a flow path, and a control system. The control system may include a controller operatively connected to at least one sensor to sense the amount of material, if any, along the flow path, and the speed, if any, of the material along the flow path. The control system, in response to signals received from the at least one sensor, may cause at least one of the hopper feeder, cutting mill, and collection system to increase the speed, decrease the speed, or stop the flow of material along at least a portion of the flow path. Methods of making and using the same are also described.

Method and installation for cryogenic crushing of products

A plant for grinding a product, which includes a grinder in which the product is ground, which plant also includes a hopper for supplying the grinder with product to be ground, configured to be supplied with product to be ground; a means for bringing a cryogenic fluid into the hopper; and a means for discharging product from the hopper into the grinder. Wherein the hopper is provided in a lower part with a hollow screw provided with turns allowing the product to be discharged out of the hopper, into the grinder; and the means for bringing a cryogenic fluid into the hopper comprise an injection lance which is positioned inside the turns of the hollow screw, extending in a direction substantially parallel to the axis of the screw.

DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING THERMOPLASTIC PLASTIC HAVING A BLOWING DEVICE FOR A CONVEYING SCREW

A device (1a . . . 1i) for processing thermoplastic plastic is described, comprising a storage container (2) for receiving pieces of plastic particles or a conveying line (14) for conveying the pieces of plastic particles, and a conveying screw (3) following the storage container (2)/the conveying line (14) at a transfer opening (A). The device (1a . . . 1i) also comprises an extruder (4) following the conveying screw (3) and an air outlet (7) arranged opposite the transfer opening (A) and directed at this opening. A method for operating the device (1a . . . 1i) is also described, in which an air stream is aligned with the transfer opening (A). The strength and/or the direction of the air stream is adjusted or controlled as a function of a load on the extruder (4).

Coffee densifier

A coffee densifier is disclosed. The coffee densifier comprises an elongated chamber, a densifier motor, a shaft, a plurality of densifier members, a discharge door actuator, a densifier motor load sensor, and a controller. The plurality of densifier members are fixed to the shaft and configured to polish a plurality of coffee particles of the ground coffee within the elongated chamber when the plurality of densifier members are rotated by the shaft through the ground coffee within the mixing chamber. The controller configured to signal the discharge door actuator to move the discharge door to increase or decrease a density of the ground coffee exiting the chamber through the discharge opening when the densifier motor load is outside a predefined densifier motor load operating range.

Method to operate a grinder during production

The present invention relates to a method to grind mass in a grinder (1) wherein the mass is provided to the grinder (1) via a hopper (5) and transported by a feeder worm (2) to a rotating processing worm (3) which conveys the mass towards a cutting set (4) which grinds the mass and wherein the feeder worm (2) initially rotates in a first direction. During production the feeder worm (2) is periodically reversed and/or the speed of rotation of the feeder worm (2) is reduced in case the volume between the feeder worm (2) and the processing worm (3) tends to get blocked with the mass.

The present invention relates to a method to grind meat in grinder wherein the meat is provided to the grinder via a hopper (5) and transported by a feeder worm (2) to a rotating processing worm (3) which conveys the meat towards a cutting set (4) which grinds the meat and wherein the feeder worm (2) initially rotates in a first direction. In case the feeder worm (2) is overloaded, its direction of rotation is reversed to a second direction for a certain period of time and then reversed back to the first direction.

Meat Grinder with Storage Tray and Cover

A food grinder comprises a base housing a motor, a throat portion coupled to the base, a receiving tube coupled to the throat, a feeding tray coupled to an upper end of the receiving tube, a selectively rotatable auger selectively insertable into and removable from the throat portion, and a storage tray sized and shaped to be selectively insertable into and removable from the feeding tray. The storage tray comprises a main body having a plurality of depressions formed in a top surface thereof. Each depression is sized and shaped to hold one or more accessories for use with the food grinder.

Feed screw for meat grinding reclamation system

A meat grinding reclamation system is disclosed herein. The system uses a conical feed screw. The conical feed screw is provided with a shaft and two flights. The first flight changes from a constant diameter to an expanding diameter. The second flight is provided co-helically along the shaft with a portion of the first flight. As both flights expand in diameter, meat processed through the meat grinding reclamation system accelerates, dislodging undesirable material such as gristle from the meat, before the meat decreases in velocity to present the meat for further processing.
