Shredder with paper separation and advancement mechanism
The present disclosure is generally related to an apparatus having cutter elements for destroying articles such as paper sheets and a mechanism for separating at least a sheet from a stack in a tray. The separation mechanism can be activated by rotation of the cutter elements. In one embodiment, the separation mechanism is provided in the form of a helical mechanism, such as a coil, configured for insertion into the stack and to receive separated sheets from the stack in between its space(s) as it is rotated. The separated sheets can fall via gravity into the shredder mechanism. Optionally, a paper feed mechanism can feed separated paper to the cutter elements. The tray can include an edge to assist in directing separated paper towards the cutter elements. One or more staple picking support mechanisms can also be provided to assist in separating sheets from a stapled set of pages.
ARRANGEMENT AND SYSTEM FOR FEEDING BIOMASS MATERIAL TO A TREATMENT PROCESS
A feeding arrangement for feeding lignocellulosic biomass material such as annual plant material towards a hydrolysis process includes at least one transportation device for transporting the biomass material towards the treatment process; and at least one tearing roll arranged at a predetermined distance from the at least one transportation device and being provided with tearing protrusion. The at least one tearing roll is arranged with a predetermined distance to the at least one transportation device to tear off parts of the transported material to provide a substantially continuous flow of material.

Waste carpet and felt scrap recycling apparatus and method thereof
A wasted carpet and felt scrap recycling apparatus is provided. The waste carpet and felt scrap recycling apparatus includes a feeding unit that feeds a cut scrap while forming a feeding path and a supply unit that is connected to the feeding path and supplies the scrap that passed the feeding unit along the feeding path while pressing the scrap. A separation unit is spaced apart from the supply unit, and provides a frictional force to one surface of the scrap supplied from the supply unit through rotation of the supply unit and separates the scrap into fiber and recycled material.
APPARATUS FOR CONVEYING AND PROCESSING FOODSTUFFS AND RELATED METHOD OF OPERATION
A conveyor apparatus for conveying and processing foodstuffs such as meat is provided. The conveyor apparatus includes a filling device, a mincer which can be coupled to the filling device and having an inlet and an outlet, a closure element which can be mounted to the outlet, a signaling device associated with the closure element, and at least one signal line device for the transmission of signals of the signaling device from the closure element to the filling device. The provision of the signaling device and the signal line device allows for prevention of operation of the cutting elements of the mincer when the closure element is not detected to be in a closed position, thereby making maintenance and repair safer to conduct. A method of conveying foodstuffs in accordance with the apparatus is also provided.

GRINDER MACHINE WITH IMPROVED SCREEN DIVERTER SYSTEM
The present invention relates to comminutors for breaking down waste and, more particularly, comminutors having a screen that rotates for directing large waste particles into a cutting assembly. In addition to a rotating screen, a second, stationary screen is provided that has horizontal ribs adapted to cooperate with interleaved ribs on the rotating screen so as create a composite fine screen at an inlet end of the comminutor, while creating a coarse screen at the outlet end of the comminutor.
