A frozen confection machine includes a hopper portion for receiving ice into an interior, and a motor configured to rotate a drive shaft, a blade to condition the ice in the hopper during rotation of the motor. The frozen confection machine also includes a lid for selectively covering the interior of the hopper, a bias member for biasing the lid away from a closed position, and a switch for causing the motor to actuate in response to the lid being pressed to a closed position.

LOOSEFILL INSULATION BLOWING MACHINE

A machine for distributing material from a package of compressed loosefill insulation material is provided. The machine includes a chute having an inlet end and an outlet end. The inlet end is configured to receive compressed loosefill insulation material. A lower unit has a shredding chamber configured to receive the compressed loosefill insulation material from the outlet end of the chute. The shredding chamber includes a plurality of shredders configured to condition the loosefill insulation material. The shredders include a shredder shaft and a plurality of vane assemblies. The vane assemblies are oriented such that adjacent vane assemblies are offset from each other by an angle of about 45 to about 75. A discharge mechanism receives the loosefill insulation material exiting the shredding chamber and distributes the loosefill insulation material into an airstream and a blower is configured to provide the airstream flowing through the discharge mechanism.

VACUUM-ASSISTED PELLETIZER
20200164380 · 2020-05-28 ·

A thermoplastic pelletizer providing enhanced pellet yields with reduced fines contamination. The pelletizer includes a cutting rotor and a feed assembly for feeding plastic to the cutting rotor. The pelletizer further includes two chutesa first chute arranged to collect pellets, and a second chute arranged to collect fines. A vacuum is drawn on both chutes to assist in the collection of both pellets and fines in their respective chutes. Compressed air is directed past the cutting rotor to the first chute to assist in moving pellets from the cutting rotor to the first chute.

Shredder jam clear apparatus

A paper shredder having shredder cover and a motor coupled to shredder blades includes a shredder throat in proximity to shredder blades. The shredder throat has a moveable blade, and a fixed blade. A shredder jam grip has a projection in communication with a power switch plunger. When the shredder is in the NORMAL position, a throat gap is in its normal position and the projection positions the plunger to power to the motor. When the shredder is in the JAM CLEAR position, the throat gap is in its wide position and the projection positions the plunger to remove power from the motor.

System, machine and method for reducing size or volume of objects
10618054 · 2020-04-14 · ·

A machine or system and related method for breaking and reducing the bulk size of one or more objects and comprising: a frame, a reception chamber and a size reduction mechanism. The size reduction mechanism includes a drum rotatably coupled to the frame and configured to oscillate relative to the frame between a first position and a second position about a longitudinal rotational axis; a cutting member coupled to the drum and extending therefrom, the cutting member being configured to penetrate through one or more of the objects in the reception chamber during operation as the drum rotates from the first position to the second position during each oscillation cycle; and a breaking screen comprising a series of spaced breaking members configured to cause further breakdown of the one or more pieces of the one or more objects during operation as the drum rotates toward the second position during each oscillation cycle and forces the one or more pieces against the breaking members. An optional chute may be coupled to the outlet of the machine or system for further compacting and disposing of the bulk material output by the machine.
