MATERIAL FEED PROCESS AND ASSEMBLY FOR A ROTARY MAGNETIC SEPARATOR
20220048042 · 2022-02-17 ·

The invention provides a material feed process for magnetically separating magnetic and non-magnetic particles from a material feed by means of a magnetic roller separator wherein the process is characterised therein that particle separation is independent of centrifugal force, and where the process can equally well be applied to both wet and dry particle separation. The process specifically provides feeding the particles at an incident zone above the horizontal axis centre line, and separating the magnetic and non-magnetic particles at opposite rotational sides of the roller.

FILTER
20170240440 · 2017-08-24 ·

The present disclosure relates to a filter, which comprises a housing, a protective bushing, a magnetic bar and a filter screen. The protective bushing, the magnetic bar and the filter screen are disposed in the housing. The protective bushing comprises a cavity and a channel. The channel is disposed along the axial direction of the cavity. The advantageous effects of the filter according to the present disclosure lies in that: the magnetic bar inside the filter can adsorb metal impurities in the water in the channel; and the channel is in S shape which can increase the length of the flow path of the water so that the metal impurities in the water can be guaranteed to be sufficiently adsorbed by the magnetic bar; and the filter screen can filter out non-metal impurities in the water. An exhaust valve provided at the top of the protective bushing can keep the balance between the air pressure inside the filter and the air pressure outside the filter, which can ensure that the water can flow out and in smoothly. The filter is attached with an operating handle. If the user wants to disassemble the filter to clear up the metal impurities and non-metal impurities in the filter, he can disassemble the filter by means of the operating handle without the need of professional operator, which is convenient and simple.

Provided herein are systems, apparatus, and methods for extracting pure oxygen from a liquid. In some embodiments, a system for extracting oxygen from a liquid comprises a separator configured to allow a liquid to pass therethrough and to produce a liquid mixture comprising the liquid having at least a portion of oxygen removed therefrom. The separator comprises a wall surrounding an interior portion of a tube, the wall having at least one aperture formed therein. The separator also comprises at least one magnet positioned adjacently to the at least one aperture having a north pole end and a south pole end forming a magnetic field gradient therebetween and extending into an interior portion of the tube. The system also comprises a storage tank fluidly coupled to the at least one aperture and configured to store the at least a portion of oxygen removed from the liquid via the separator.

Strainer for use in fluid piping

A strainer (101) for use in fluid piping. The strainer (101) comprises a body (102) for connection to a fluid piping inflow conduit (201) and to a fluid piping outflow conduit (202). The body (102) defines an interior chamber (103), a fluid inlet port (104) and a fluid outlet port (105). The body (102) defines a fluid flow path (106) between the fluid inlet port (104) and the fluid outlet port (105) that extends through the interior chamber (103). The strainer (101) comprises a screen collector (107) that is removably locatable in the body (102), within the fluid flow path (106). The strainer (101) further comprises a permanent magnet collector (102) that is removably locatable in the body (102). The strainer (101) may be used in fluid circuit piping of a heating or a cooling system.

ORDNANCE REMEDIATION SYSTEM
20170232446 · 2017-08-17 ·

A system for eliminating unexploded ordnance from a mixture. The system includes a separation plant, including a crusher, a magnetic separation station, and a screen plant. The crusher reduces the size of pieces in the mixture, the magnetic separator separates pieces containing a significant amount of ferrous metal, and the screen separates small pieces from larger pieces. The fine output of the screen is composed of pieces that are sufficiently small to pose little hazard; they may be further subjected to heat treatment. Large pieces containing ferrous metal, or large pieces containing nonferrous metal, may be explosive and are transported, using an unmanned machine, to an inspection plant where they are sorted and where any unexploded ordnance is identified and disposed of. The separation plant is sufficiently distant from the inspection plant that an explosion at the separation plant does not pose a hazard to personnel at the inspection plant.
