Two Component Airless Adhesive Spray Gun and Method of Use
A two part airless adhesive spray system is provided herein. This system provides numerous enhancements to the prior art including limiting overspray fog, saving on sprayed material because of a more efficient spray pattern, and providing a stronger bond than that of the air-atomized spray guns of the prior art.
Bellows fluid seal
A bellow seal of a fluid dispensing system is disclosed. The bellow seal having a generally circular cross section includes a first end having a first diameter. The bellow seal further includes a second end having a second diameter that is smaller than the first diameter of the first end. The bellow seal further includes a contoured external surface extending between the first end and the second end. The external surface includes a cylindrical portion extending from the first end, an undulating portion, (which includes a convex portion extending from the cylindrical portion and a concave portion extending from the convex portion), and a tapered portion extending from the concave portion to the second end. The bellow seal further includes a flexible region defined between a first point located on the cylindrical portion and a second point located on the concave portion.
FLUID VALVE, IN PARTICULAR A RETURN VALVE FOR A PAINTING SYSTEM
Exemplary illustrations of a fluid valve, e.g., a return valve for returning residual paint, rinsing agent, and compressed air from a paint line when changing color in a painting system, are disclosed. An exemplary fluid valve may be adjusted between an open position, in which the fluid valve is at least partially open, e.g., for rinsing a paint line with a rinsing agent and for pressurizing the paint line with a new color for the color change, and a closed position, in which the fluid valve is closed, e.g., for applying the new color after the color change. An exemplary fluid valve may switch to the closed position, upon actuation by the medium thereof, e.g., medium flowing through or present in the valve. In another example, a fluid valve may close depending on the fluid present at the input side.
STRIPING APPARATUS
An apparatus for applying fluid material to a road or runway surface may be provided in which the apparatus comprises: a material distribution bar to be extended laterally and parallel but spaced from the surface, the bar having closed ends and defining a laterally-extending fluid distribution slot through which material is to be pumped; a system for providing material under pressure in a flow path; and a valve disposed between the material distribution bar and the system for providing material under pressure, to selectively open and close to control the flow of material from the system to the material distribution bar and the a fluid distribution slot.
Dispensing module, applicator head and nozzle holder for dispensing a fluid, in particular hot-melt adhesive
The invention relates to a dispensing module (1) for an applicator head for dispensing a fluid, in particular hot-melt adhesive, comprising a module housing (5), a valve body accommodated in the module housing (5), an adapter (7) through which the valve body extends, comprising a proximal end (49) and a distal end (41), the distal end (41) being connected by means of a screw connection (51) to the module housing (5), a nozzle holder (9) which is adapted to be inserted into a matching recess in a base member of the applicator head, and one or a plurality of sealing elements (57, 59, 61) for sealing the nozzle holder (9) and the base member against each other in a fluid-tight manner. According to the invention, it is proposed that the nozzle holder (9) comprises a cavity (69) through which the valve body extends, is connected by means of a screw connection (51) to the proximal end (49) of the adapter (7), comprises a valve seat (79) which is adapted to cooperate with a valve head (31) of the valve body, and comprises an elongate section (75) upstream from the valve seat (79), within which the cavity (69) is limited to a narrow gap (77).
CONTROLLING FLUID FLOW
A system for controlling fluid flow includes a fluid inlet operable to receive a fluid flow, a fluid outlet operable to output the fluid flow, a diaphragm seat, a diaphragm operable to restrict the fluid flow between the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet by moving between an open position where the first diaphragm does not contact the diaphragm seat to a closed position where the diaphragm contacts the diaphragm seat, a spring operable to move the first diaphragm between the open position and the closed position, and a pressurized air inlet operable to receive pressurized air to move the first diaphragm between the open position and the closed position.
Self-cleaning sprinkler
A self-cleaning sprinkler is disclosed, generally comprised of an upper and lower housing, which encase a nozzle and a diaphragm. The diaphragm moves in an upward and downward position relative to the nozzle, which allows water located within a chamber to be expelled out of an exit aperture of the nozzle. A needle is secured within the diaphragm to correspondingly move in an upward and downward position, such that once in a closed position, the needle will penetrate the exit aperture of the nozzle in order to clean any debris that may have accumulated therein. The diaphragm moves in from a closed position to an open position depending on the incoming water pressure.
Device for applying viscous material to workpieces
A device for applying viscous material to workpieces includes a rotary lance in a holder apparatus and rotatable about a longitudinally-extending rotation axis, the lance having at least one material outlet. A needle valve associated with each material outlet has a longitudinally-extending valve needle used to close each material outlet on a valve seat. Each valve needle has an associated cylinder with a plunger chamber in which a plunger is movable by pressure applied by a fluid, the valve needle being permanently connected to the plunger. A tappet is connected to each plunger, the tappet, at its upper end facing away from the at least one valve seat, being sealingly guided out of the associated plunger chamber. The rotary lance has a measuring element which can be acted upon by the tappet and moved longitudinally; and the holder apparatus has a sensor for determining the measuring element position.
DISPENSING DEVICE FOR INTERMITTENTLY DISPENSING A COOLING MEDIUM ONTO A CAST STRAND
A dispensing device that intermittently dispenses a cooling medium onto a cast strand in a continuous casting installation. The dispensing device has a housing with at least one inlet opening for letting the cooling medium into the housing and a dispensing opening for dispensing the cooling medium out of the housing. A switching valve is arranged in the housing and is designed to open and close the dispensing opening. The switching valve has a sleeve, which is filled with a working fluid and which, on the dispensing opening side, is closed with a closure in a fluid-tight manner. The closure has a switching element, which, by controlling the pressure in the working fluid, is displaceable relative to the sleeve into a closing position in which the switching element closes the dispensing opening.
IRRIGATION SPRINKLER IDENTIFICATION

The valve includes a valve body and a valve element configured to move relative to the valve body to various positions to control a water flow through the fluid flow path. The nozzle head is supported by the base and includes at least one nozzle configured to discharge water received through the fluid flow path. The motorized rotator is configured to rotate the nozzle head about an axis. The transmitter is contained in the interior cavity and configured to wirelessly broadcast the sprinkler identification code.
