Rotary Nozzle

An irrigation nozzle with a rotating deflector is provided whose rotational speed may be controlled by a friction brake. The nozzle may also include an arc adjustment valve having two portions that helically engage each other to define an opening that may be adjusted at the top of the sprinkler to a desired arcuate length. The arcuate length may be adjusted by pressing down and rotating a deflector to directly actuate the valve. The nozzle may also include a radius reduction valve that may be adjusted by actuation of an outer wall of the nozzle. Rotation of the outer wall causes a flow control member to move axially to or away from an inlet.

The present application belongs to fluid control equipment, in particular, relates to directional controlling mechanism of fluidic sprinkler, comprising a rear reversing mechanism, a front reversing mechanism and a signal stream switching mechanism. A limiting shift rod of the rear mechanism rotate around a locating rod as the center after touching a limiting ring, then realize the reversing of the limiting shift rod. The reverse action of the limiting rod will finally lead a reversing arm to rotate by way of driving a reversing locating block, a rear reversing rod and a front reversing rod to rotate. The rear reversing mechanism, the front reversing mechanism and the signal stream switching mechanism act together, so as to switch a left-side signal stream nozzle and a right-side stream nozzle of a fluidic sprinkler, and bring about the reversing of the rotation direction of the fluidic sprinkler. Directional controlling mechanism of fluidic sprinkler is in a stepping state respectively in the clockwise and the counter clockwise working modes, so that the impact force on a rotary body is small, critical components tend to have a longer working life, an intermediate position does not exist during the reversing of the sprinkler, and the switching of the sprinkler is stable and reliable.

Automatic reversible arc sprinkler

An automatic reversible arc assembly for a sprinkler includes a pair of primary stop members circumferentially spaced from each other by a first amount, and a pair of secondary stop members circumferentially spaced from each other by a second amount, different from the first amount. The primary stop members and the secondary stop members are coupled together and define a pivot assembly pivotable between a first position and a second position. A timer module cooperable with the pivot assembly is configured to hold the pivot assembly in the first position for a selectable period of time, after which the timer module enables the pivot assembly to pivot to the second position. The primary stop members are active in the first position, and the secondary stop members are active in the second position.

A rudder-directed tube delivery sprinkler head. A rudder configured to direct water into a tube, triggering distribution of water around an axis. Adjustable stoppers contact a rudder assembly, causing the rudder to pivot, directing water into a different tube and changing the direction of rotation.

DIFFUSER ARM (DA) FOR IMPACT SPRINKLERS

An irrigation sprinkler has a vertical axis (A) and is configured to emit a liquid jet. The sprinkler includes a base and a head operatively connected to the. A reciprocal element rotatably mounted to the head is configured to undergo reciprocal motion about the vertical axis (A), in response to being impacted with the liquid jet from a nozzle belonging to the head. The reciprocal element has a diffuser arm which carries a plurality of integrally formed, spaced apart diffuser posts which are configured to be hit by, and diffuse the liquid jet during the reciprocal motion.

Articulated joint for sprinklers

An articulated connection joint between a liquid supply line and a sprinkler barrel includes a fixed tubular body to be connected to the supply line and a movable tubular body to be connected to the fixed tubular body and to the barrel. These bodies have end portions with equal curvature, one of which slidingly fits into the other one with a sealing element interposed therebetween. The tubular bodies, once coupled, define a common curvature plane and are hinged to each other about a transverse axis, which is substantially perpendicular to the curvature plane to provide for a relative inclination that can be adjusted with a plate-shaped member substantially parallel to the curvature plane and laterally secured to one of the bodies. A plurality of through holes in the plate-shaped member can receive a first pin fitted into a seat formed on the other body to selectively lock the inclination angle.
