Aerosolizing nozzle and method of operating such aerosolizing nozzle
A nozzle and a method of generating an inhalable aerosol from a liquid solution or liquid suspension and a gas by operating the nozzle. A column-like aerosol plume is generated having fluid particles within a particle free sheath of gas, the aerosol plume being generated from a compressed gas interacting within the aerosolizing space with a fluid ejected along the central axis, and generates a Venturi effect entraining gas that flows over the convex outer nozzle surface that together with the particle free sheath keeps the circumferential edge and the outer nozzle surface free of particle deposition. An aerosol exit orifice diameter is at least 1.3 times larger than the fluid exit orifice diameter; and a converging annular pressurized gas channel extending at an acute gas flow angle of 10-30 with respect to a central axis.

Aerosol device
An aerosol device having a bowl with a bottom defining a drain, and a side wall extending from the bottom to a rim. A nozzle is disposed within the bowl. The nozzle defines a chamber and an outlet orifice directed toward the side wall of the bowl. The aerosol device includes a liquid container fluidly coupled to the nozzle via a first conduit having an outlet tip disposed within the chamber of the nozzle and a second conduit connecting a source of pressurized gas to the chamber of the nozzle. The outlet tip is in the form of a tube defining elongated slots communicating from inside the tube to outside the tube, the slots each having a width defined between two parallel tube surfaces. The aerosol device generates submicron liquid droplets, and is suitable for disinfecting porous articles in an enclosed volume.
Spraying unit, compact spraying module including such a unit, and spraying and control system including a plurality of such modules
Disclosed is a spraying unit intended for spraying a liquid onto vegetation and including: a nozzle formed by a tube, a rotatable atomizer, and a fan generating a carrying air flow around the atomizer, a drive system, and a transport unit for transporting the liquid to the atomizer, which is capable of breaking the liquid up into droplets. The nozzle encloses a body surrounded by the carrying air flow and including a rotatable portion formed by the rotatable atomizer, the rotation of which causes droplets in the carrying air flow to be propelled, preferably in a direction substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. Also disclosed is a compact spraying module including such a unit and to a spraying and control system including a plurality of such modules.
Spraying apparatus
A spraying apparatus is configured such that a liquid stored in a liquid storage tank is pressurized by a liquid supplier and is supplied to a mist nozzle, so that a liquid flow is introduced from an upstream of a gas-liquid mixing section and a vicinity of a wall surface of the gas-liquid mixing section into the gas-liquid mixing section on an outer lid side. A pressurized gas is supplied from a gas supplier from a facing surface, so that a gas flow is introduced into the gas-liquid mixing section and collides with the liquid flow, and a gas-liquid mixed flow is advanced to a spout portion while circulating the wall surface of the gas-liquid mixing section on the outer lid side.
Atomizer unit
Embodiments relate to an atomizer unit that has a chamber assembly with an injection chamber and an atomizer chamber. The injection chamber is connected to the atomizer chamber by a nozzle, and the atomizer unit has a first feed channel for feeding a first compressed air flow into the injection chamber, a second feed channel for feeding a second compressed air flow into the atomizer chamber, and an injection valve for injecting a coolant and/or lubricant into the first compressed air flow in the injection region of the injection chamber. The first compressed air flow flows from the injection chamber into the atomizer chamber through the nozzle, is atomized in the atomizer chamber by the nozzle, is combined with the second compressed air flow in the atomizer chamber in order to form a transport flow for transporting the injected coolant and/or lubricant, and can be conducted to the machining location.
