Particulate sprayer

A particulate sprayer includes a gas reservoir to hold a gas, a liquid reservoir to hold a product, and a low pressure section including an exit opening connected to the liquid reservoir. The product includes a liquid and solid particles. The low pressure section transports gas released from the gas reservoir over the exit opening. The product is drawn, pushed, or drawn and pushed from the exit opening into the transported gas to create a spray of the product to be sprayed from the particulate sprayer.

Marker airbrush

A marker airbrush device for transferring marking solution from a marking device onto a writing surface using air is provided. The airbrush device includes a housing with an air outlet, a trigger for controlling an amount of air travelling through the air outlet, and a marker positioner coupled to the housing. The marker positioner positions a marking device relative to the air outlet such that air traveling through the air outlet contacts at least one surface of the marking device to transfer marking solution onto a writing surface. In embodiments, rotation of a portion of the marker positioner advances and/or retracts the marking device with respect to the flow of air through the air outlet, thereby altering the angle and/or amount of air that contacts the marking device during spraying. In another embodiment, the marker positioner includes a locking lever for engaging against the marker device nib and/or housing.

The backpack paint sprayer comprises a backpack, a spray gun, and a hose assembly. The backpack paint sprayer may be a portable spray-painting system. The backpack may carry a supply of paint which may be pumped from the backpack to the spray gun via the hose assembly. A turbine located within the spray gun may create an air stream that may atomize the paint and may disperse the paint over a surface being painted. The backpack may be adapted to be worn by a user and may enable the user to move about without being constrained by a paint supply hose coupled between the spray gun and a compressor.

Non-pressurized system for creating liquid droplets in a dental cleaning appliance

The appliance (10, FIG. 1) includes a body portion (27) and a nozzle portion (30) through which a spray of liquid droplets exits from a distal end thereof for cleaning of dental regions. The nozzle includes an orifice (36) at a proximal end thereof adjacent the body portion, as well as a pump (38) for moving liquid into an area of the nozzle just forward of the orifice. A mechanical system (12, 13, 14) is provided for moving a plunger or piston element (16) first away from the orifice under tension, such as a compression spring (24), and then controllably releasing the plunger or piston toward the orifice, the plunger/piston moving with sufficient force that atmospheric air which has been drawn into the appliance between the plunger or piston is forced through the orifice at a sufficiently high rate of speed to produce a spray of fluid droplets for dental cleaning when the moving air comes into contact with the liquid in the nozzle.

MARKER AIRBRUSH

A marker airbrush device for transferring marking solution from a marking device onto a writing surface using air is provided. The airbrush device includes a housing with an air outlet, a dual-action trigger for controlling an amount of air travelling through the air outlet, and a marker positioner coupled to the housing. The dual-action trigger may be either pushed down or pulled back to control air flow through the air outlet. The marker positioner positions a marking device relative to the air outlet such that air traveling through the air outlet contacts at least one surface of the marking device to transfer marking solution onto a writing surface. The marker positioner may include a rotatable collar that couples the marking device within the marker position and creates a seal around the marking device to prevent pressurized air from escaping around the marking device.

Airflow control for an integrated handheld texture sprayer

A handheld sprayer includes a housing, a turbine, a spray tip, and a hopper. An air flow passage extends through the housing. The turbine is configured to generate an airflow within the air flow passage. The spray tip is positioned to receive airflow from the air flow passage. The hopper is connected to the housing and configured to discharge a fluid into the air flow passage. In one embodiment a valve is positioned within the air flow passage and configured to control the airflow from the turbine to the spray tip. In another embodiment, a voltage limiting circuit is configured to control voltage to an electric motor of the turbine to control speed of the turbine. In another embodiment, an air inlet control device is configured to control the air intake of the turbine.
