Methods of applying a rapid cure sealant to an aircraft surface
Applicant discloses a novel method of spray applying multiple courses of a rapid cure, two part polymer sealant to an aircraft surface. The method sometimes uses a two part polymer mix for use in the aircraft industry that is applied with pneumatic mix and spray gun. The two part cartridge is used in the mix and spray gun so the mix is applied immediately upon mixing, but the two components are kept separated unless the gun is applying the mix. The multiple courses cure to form a clear sealant that allows for inspection of cracks and corrosion beneath the sealant. It cures quickly so that the coated part may be further processed, for example in the assembly line during aircraft build. Applicant further discloses multiple spray gun systems for applying such a two-part polymer mix to aircraft parts.
Particulate sprayer
A particulate sprayer includes a gas reservoir to hold a gas, a liquid reservoir to hold a product, and a low pressure section including an exit opening connected to the liquid reservoir. The product includes a liquid and solid particles. The low pressure section transports gas released from the gas reservoir over the exit opening. The product is drawn, pushed, or drawn and pushed from the exit opening into the transported gas to create a spray of the product to be sprayed from the particulate sprayer.
Fragrance nebulizer with drainage system
A device for generating a scented mist of an atomized liquid fragrance oil includes an atomizer complex, a reservoir assembly, a drainage tube, and a vacuum tube. The atomizer complex can atomize the liquid fragrance oil into a scented mist and deliver the scented mist to air outside of the atomizer complex, where the liquid fragrance oil the fragrance oil that is not atomized into the scented mist delivered to the air outside of the atomizer complex includes collected oil that is collected and drained to a reservoir assembly. A drainage tube extends from a bottom area of the atomizer complex into the liquid fragrance oil. The device can filter the liquid fragrance oil in the reservoir assembly and the collected oil from the atomizer complex that drained down the drainage tube. The vacuum tube can suction the filtered liquid fragrance oil and the collected oil into the atomizer complex for atomization.
BLOWER TO SPRAYER CONVERSION
Apparatus for converting a powered air blower to a sprayer is disclosed. The apparatus comprises at least one discharge port terminating in a nozzle and at least one clamp, such as an alligator jaw. The clamp may open in a direction away from a direction of discharge from each nozzle. The clamp and the at least one discharge port may be mounted on a chassis having a configuration of a tube. A feed conduit is in fluid communication with each of the discharge port. Where there is more than one discharge port, the feed conduit splits to supply each discharge port. In an embodiment, there is one discharge port having a direction of discharge and an associated axis, and at least two clamps symmetrically disposed about the axis. The apparatus may be clamped to a discharge conduit of the blower.
SPRAYER UNIT
A mixing apparatus including a mixing region can have an inlet and an outlet. The mixing region can be operable to couple with a solution housing, thereby defining a mixing chamber. A stem can extend from a surface of the mixing region and the inlet can be disposed at a distal end of the stem. A wing can disposed at a proximal end of the stem and adjacently engaged with the surface of the mixing region and have a leading edge and a trailing edge.
Dual air chamber foam pumps, refill units and dispensers
Exemplary two chamber foam pumps, refill units and dispensers utilizing the same are disclosed herein. An exemplary refill unit includes an inverted container having a neck located at the bottom of the container and a foam pump secured neck. The foam pump includes a first air pump chamber, a liquid pump chamber and a second air pump chamber. In addition, the pump includes a piston. The piston has a hollow central portion. A first air inlet aperture is located through a wall of the piston between the first air pump chamber and the hollow central portion. A liquid inlet aperture is located below the first air inlet aperture and between the liquid pump chamber and the hollow central portion. A second air inlet aperture is located through the wall the piston located below the liquid inlet aperture and between the second air pump chamber and the hollow central portion.
Systems, devices and methods related to spray-painting fluid path for manufacture of radio-frequency modules
During fabrication of shielded radio-frequency modules where costly metallic paint is sprayed to form a conductive layer, it is desirable to reduce the amount of paint being utilized, and to reduce the likelihood of accumulation of metal particles along various paths. A closed recirculation system can be provided to yield such desirable features, and can include a reservoir for holding a volume of metallic paint, a spray apparatus for spraying metallic paint received from the reservoir, and a recirculator for recirculating the metallic paint that is not sprayed back to the reservoir. In some embodiments, the spray apparatus can be implemented so as to have reduced dimensions, and include a mechanism for switching between a spray mode and a recirculate mode. Such a spray apparatus can reduce the amount of paint being utilized, and also reduce accumulation of metal particles in the spray apparatus.
Haircare device
A hair care device according to the present disclosure includes a tank that stores a liquid, a liquid feed pump that outputs the liquid stored in the tank, and a controller that controls an output of the liquid feed pump. The hair care device according to the present disclosure further includes a detector that detects torque of the liquid feed pump. The controller adjusts the output of the liquid feed pump based on a detection value of the detector. Thus, the hair care device that suitably sprays a cosmetic component is provided.
Compressed air foam mixing system
A compressed air foam mixing system that has a mixing device connected to a discharge port of a tank. The mixing device receives fluid from the tank and pressurized air from the tank or alternatively directly from a source of pressurized air. The fluid and pressurized air are combined within the mixing device to form a foam.
