ADJUSTABLE PUMP
An adjustable pump includes a ring connected to an open end of a container, a cap rectilinearly movable relative to the ring to dispense fluid from the container, and a quantity-adjusting unit that includes a limiting element and a knob. The limiting element is adapted for contacting the cap and hence limiting the rectilinear movement of the cap relative to the ring. The limiting element is rectilinearly movable relative to the ring to adjust a stroke of the movement of the cap relative to the ring. The limiting element includes at least one boss. The knob is rotatable relative to the ring around the limiting element. The knob includes at least one helical groove that receives the boss so that the limiting element is moved relative to the ring as the knob is rotated relative to the ring.
MANUALLY OPERATED PUMP
A manually operated pump (1), comprising a cup-shaped body (2) inside which a piston (3)coupled with a hollow stem (4) for the movement thereof within the cup-shaped body (2)sealingly slides, the pump being equipped with a base (5) which seals the cup-shaped body (2) and which is endowed with a hole (11) for the stem (4), the said stem (4) and the base (5) being torsionally coupled, at least part of the cup-shaped body (2) and of the piston (3) delimiting a compression chamber (6) coupled with at least one suction valve element (8) and with a delivery valve element (9), the said delivery valve element (9) being in communication with a cavity in the stem (4), a dispensing button (10) being sealingly fitted on the stem (4), the said button (10) and the stem (4) being mutually constrained so that the button rotates, in a limited manner, around an axis (A) of the stem (4) between a first dispensing position and a second closed position, in which at least one tooth (D) of the button abuts a surface (13) of a ring nut (12) so as to prevent a stem (4) stroke; the ring nut (12) can be coupled torsionally to the base (5) or to the cup-shaped body (2) in at least two alternative assembly positions, such that, if the ring nut (12) is in its first assembly position and the button (10) is in the dispensing position, a first groove (S1) of the ring nut faces the tooth (D) which can slide in it up to a first end-stroke (F1), allowing a first stroke of the stem (4) and which, if the ring nut (12) is in its second assembly position and the button (10) is in the dispensing position, a second groove (S2) of the ring faces the tooth (D) which can slide in it up to a second end-stroke (F2), allowing a second stroke of the stem (4) different from the first stroke of the stem, so that, during the assembly of the pump, the positioning of the ring nut (12) in the first or second assembly position (2) determine a first or second dispensing volume of the pump.
OMEGA-3 SPRAY
A pump assembly cap includes an accumulator reservoir configured for fluid communication with a container through a one-way inlet valve. An actuator including a dispensing passage having a dispensing orifice. A delivery path extended from the one-way inlet valve, through the accumulator reservoir, the one-way outlet valve, and to the dispensing orifice. The delivery path includes a sealed configuration and an opened configuration. In the sealed configuration, the actuator is in a ready position and the accumulator reservoir includes a first volume, the one-way outlet valve hermetically seals the accumulator reservoir, and the one-way inlet valve is closed. In the opened configuration, the actuator is moved to a dispensing position and the accumulator reservoir includes a second volume less than the first volume, the hermetic seal of the one-way outlet is open, and the one-way inlet valve is closed.
Piston Pump with Locking Pistons
A piston pump with an improved arrangement by which a piston-forming element is movable relative to a piston chamber-forming element between locked and unlocked positions. The piston chamber-forming body has a collar member having an inner guide tube coaxially about an axis with a lug member extending radially inwardly therefrom and the piston-forming element has a slide tube coaxially radially inwardly of the collar member with the slide tube carrying motion control features for interaction and engagement with the lug member whereby relative axial and rotational movement of the piston-forming element relative to the piston chamber-forming body provides for the adoption of positions in which the pump is operable to dispense fluid and positions in which the pump is inoperative.
INTEGRAL LOCKING MECHANISM FOR RECIPROCATING PUMPS
A locking collar for a reciprocating pump is contemplated. The collar remains affixed to the pump to avoid the creation of unwanted waste, while simultaneously providing selectively uplocking. The collar includes axial one or more axial stoppers that cooperate with a peripheral stopper on the closure cap.
SINGLE-POLYMER, RECIPROCATING DISPENSER FOR FOAM PRODUCTS
An all-plastic, reciprocating foam dispenser is contemplated. The dispenser relies upon a bellows that also serves as the air chamber/cylinder, thereby eliminating the need for complex valving while also reducing total plastic mass and shortening the axial profile of the dispenser. In this manner, the dispenser can be coupled to narrow-necked containers (40 mm diameter) and dispense large doses (1.2 mL). A locking collar secures the pump in a sealed, up-locked position, while also providing greater flexibility to adjust the air-to-liquid ratio to help impart the desired consistency to the dispensed foam product.
Quantitative dispensing device
A quantitative dispensing device includes amounting seat, an elastic cap, a dispensing element, a regulating member, a rotatable seat and a press button that has a positioning unit. The regulating member includes a regulating unit that has a stepped-shaped top surface having a plurality of contacting surface portions. The press button is movable between a raised position, where the positioning unit is spaced apart from a selected one of the contacting surface portions, and a pressed position, where the positioning unit abuts against the selected one of the contacting surface portions and the press button is pressed downwardly against the elastic cap.
Variable Metered Airless Applicator With Cartridge
The present invention relates to a variable metered amount airless applicator with cartridge. Examples of such an applicator include, for example, syringes and gun-shaped applicators. A variable amount selector is a feature of an embodiment of the applicator. The applicator can be attached to a variety of pass-through devices.
DISPENSER WITH STROKE ADJUSTMENT CAPABILITIES
A stroke adjuster and an associated dispenser are provided. An example embodiment provides a dispenser configured to dispense a fluid or foam and comprising a housing and a stroke adjuster. The housing comprises at least one housing engagement surface and defines an adjuster receiving area. The adjuster receiving area is configured to receive the stroke adjuster in one of either a first orientation or a second orientation. When the stroke adjuster is oriented within the dispenser in the first orientation a first surface is oriented upward and, when the dispenser is activated, a lower pump engagement surface of the pump is engaged by the first surface of the stroke adjuster. When the stroke adjuster is oriented within the dispenser in the second position a second surface is oriented upward and, when the dispenser is activated, the lower pump engagement surface is engaged by the housing engagement surface.
PUMP SYSTEMS, PUMP ENGINES, AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
A pump engine assembly includes an output cylinder that may be customized to include a stop portion limiting the stroke of a piston to produce a particular output such that customized pump systems may be produced from similar parts with the exchange of only a single partthe output cylinder, and wherein movement of a fluid lock in a product chamber creates a suck-back feature capable of pulling product away from a dispensing head opening.
