Device, system and method for dispensing a liquid from a container
The invention relates to a device (1) for dispensing a liquid from a container (C), comprising a pump (2) having a suction side (S) that is adapted to be brought into fluid communication with the container (C), a spray nozzle (3) in fluid communication with a pressure side (P) of the pump (2) through an outlet channel (4), a pre-compression valve (5) arranged in the outlet channel (4), and a gas buffer (9) in fluid communication with the pressure side (P) of the pump (2) and with the spray nozzle (3). The gas buffer (9) may comprise a buffer chamber (10) in which a gas-filled resiliently deformable body (11) is arranged, and the gas buffer (9) may extend from the pressure side (P) of the pump (2) in a different direction than the outlet channel (4). The invention further relates to a system for dispensing a liquid, comprising a container (C) that is filled with the liquid and a dispensing device (1) of the type described above connected to the container (C). And the invention relates to a method for dispensing a liquid, comprising the steps of:—drawing the liquid from a container (C) and pressurizing the liquid by actuating a pump (2), wherein the container (C) and the pump (2) form part of a dispensing system;—guiding a part of the pressurized liquid to a spray nozzle (3) of the dispensing system;—spraying the liquid from the nozzle (3);—guiding another part of the pressurized liquid to a gas buffer (9) for temporary storage; and—spraying the stored liquid from the nozzle (3) when the pump (2) is not being actuated; wherein the pressurized liquid is guided from the pump (2) to the spray nozzle (3) in a different direction than from the pump (2) to the gas buffer (9).
TRIGGER DISPENSING HEAD FOR A COMPACT DISPENSER
A trigger dispensing head for a compact dispenser is provided. The trigger dispensing head has a frame, a piston chamber, a piston, a dispensing pipe, a trigger, and a return element having two arms. Each arm of the two arms is arranged in a respective part of a sagittal plane. A lower backing part, supported by the frame, has a main surface. Lower ends of the return element are in contact with the main surface and freely movable thereon.
Dispenser
A spray dispenser is provided, the spray dispenser comprising a container for holding a liquid to be dispensed and a dispensing assembly for extracting liquid from said container, the dispensing assembly comprising a pressure-relief valve for release of excessive pressure in the container and a filter arranged to permit egress of gas through the filter, inhibit egress of liquid from the container and to inhibit ingress of contaminants into the container through the pressure relief valve. A dispensing assembly for use is a spray dispenser is also provided.
Dual compartment container adapter
An adapter receives two separate fluids from a container having two separate fluid compartments and combines the fluids into a single fluid stream for delivery to a spray fluid dispenser. The adapter comprises a unitary housing having a first open end for fluid connection to the container and a second open end for fluid connection to the spray fluid dispenser. The housing defines a manifold forming a fluid passageway therein between the first end and the second end. The manifold includes two separate first conduits formed at the first end. Each of the first conduits is connected to a respective one of the fluid compartments. The manifold further includes a second conduit in fluid communication with the second end for delivery of the combined fluids to the spray fluid dispenser. The first conduits are each in fluid communication with the second conduit.
DISPENSING HEAD FOR A TRIGGER DISPENSER
A dispensing head for a trigger dispenser includes a frame having a functional zone on which a frame port, a suction outlet port and a dispensing inlet port open. A valve device applied to the functional zone includes a suction shutter and a dispensing shutter that implements a precompression of products before dispensing. The valve device cooperates with a reference plane of the frame to form a precompression chamber upstream of the dispensing inlet port.
APPLICATOR FOR WATER-SOLUBLE SHEET-SHAPED PREPARATION
A nozzle having at least one hole on an end portion having a plane with a size capable of holding a sheet-like water-soluble preparation. The nozzle also has concave-convex portions on a portion of the plane excluding the hole. An applicator for a sheet-like water-soluble preparation, which is composed of a liquid container and the nozzle.
DISPENSING ASSEMBLY INCLUDING AN ADDITIVE MIXING DEVICE
A dispensing system includes a container containing a flowable base formulation to be dispensed, an additive mixing device, and an actuable pump engine which draws the flowable base formulation from the container and pumps it through the mixing device. The additive mixing device includes a body with an internal cavity, an additive ingredient within the cavity, and a flow path/mixing chamber between an input and an output. With each pump of the device the additive ingredient is introduced into, and mixed with, a flow of the base formulation traveling through the mixing device. Multiple additive mixing devices may be interchangeable for different formulations, and the mixing devices may be refillable.
TRIGGER DISPENSING DEVICE
A trigger dispensing head applicable to a bottle suitable for containing a product to be dispensed is provided. The trigger dispensing head has valve elements having a dome-shaped valve body provided with an elastically deformable membrane. The elastically deformable membrane has an annular sealing ring that forms a head seal of a pre-stressing valve.
Snap-on dispensing head
A connection system between a dispensing head and a bottle of a trigger dispensing device includes a skirt having a seat configured as an inlet on an inner surface, and a neck having a rib protruding from an outer surface. In a relative assembled position, the rib is angularly aligned with the seat while, outside of the relative assembled position, the rib constitutes an impediment to axial insertion of the skirt on the neck.
Handheld spray device
A handheld spray device has a flexible bellow coupled to a base to thereby retain liquid therein. The bellow has a bulbous section adjacent the base, narrows away from the base to terminal section opposite the base and has a side notch formed at one side of the bellow between the bulbous section and the terminal section. The base also has a nozzle therethrough such that when the bellow is squeezed in use, the liquid is forced via the nozzle.
