A dispensing device includes an air inlet hole passing through a cylinder in its thickness direction to connect an internal space of the container to an external space; and an action valve fitted onto an outer circumferential surface of the cylinder to close the air inlet hole, and that is isolated from the outer circumferential surface of the cylinder to introduce external air to the container when an internal pressure of the container is lower than an external pressure. An upper end portion of the cylinder is diametrically larger than a lower end portion. The action valve includes a ring-shaped annular section; and a valve section that extends axially from the annular section to close the air inlet hole while maintaining a radial clearance from the air inlet hole, to shield the air inlet hole from the internal space of the container.

A trigger type liquid ejector includes an ejector main body having a vertical supply pipe, an ejection barrel, a trigger mechanism having a main piston and a main cylinder, a reservoir cylinder, a reservoir plunger, a first check valve configured to block communication between a container body and the vertical supply pipe when the main cylinder is pressurized and allow communication when the main cylinder is decompressed, and a second check valve configured to allow communication between an ejection hole and the vertical supply pipe when the main cylinder is pressurized and block communication when the main cylinder is decompressed, and a communication path is provided between the main piston and the main cylinder and is configured to bring the main cylinder in communication with the container body when the main piston is moved to a position deviated rearward from a frontmost position.

Dispenser system

A system for dispensing a personal care fluid, such as a hand soap or the like. The system includes a dispenser and a refill cartridge. The dispenser includes a dispenser body having a refill cavity and a dispenser lid configured to be coupled to the dispenser body. There may be a pump sub-system mounted to the dispenser lid, or alternatively the personal care fluid may be dispensed by squeezing the dispenser and refill cartridge. The refill cartridge is configured for slidable insertion into and removal from the refill cavity of the dispenser body. The personal care fluid system is designed so that a user can readily and easily change out/replace the refill cartridge for use with a common dispenser, dispenser lid, and pump sub-system.

In a pump assembly, the outer wall of the first inner-housing sidewall, the inner wall of the second inner-housing sidewall and the inner-housing top wall define a first chamber with a first opening, and the gas chamber of the first chamber is a sealed chamber collectively defined by the piston portion, the inner-housing top wall, the outer wall of the first inner-housing sidewall and the inner wall of the second inner-housing sidewall, so that the formation of the sealed chamber does not require an additional sealing ring. This thereby reduces the risk of gas leakage due to aging of the sealing ring. A container with contents discharge function provided by this disclosure can include the above pump assembly.

Compression spring assembly and methods of using the same

An all plastic compression spring assembly includes a slotted tubular spring element formed from a tensile polymer material and first and second loading cones received at opposing first and second ends of the slotted tubular spring element. The loading cones are axially compressible toward each other within the slotted tubular spring element whereby the slotted tubular spring element radially expands in tension to create an opposing radial contraction force, and in turn, an axial extension spring force. When released, the spring element elastically returns to its normal at rest shape, returning the cones to their normal at rest positions.
