A dampening mechanism in combination with a compound applicator. The combination includes a compound applicator which further includes an incrementally iterative advancement mechanism for urging a plunger along a tube reservoir in preselected incremental strokes. The plunger urges compound along the tube reservoir and out through an applicator head. The compound applicator includes a device for dampening pressure spikes created in the tube reservoir during an incremental stroke of the plunger.

A Caulking Gun with Multi-gear and Adjustable Thrust Ratio

A caulking gun with multi-gear and adjustable thrust ratio is provided. In the caulking gun, the rotating trigger is pivotally connected to the fixed handle through a gear adjustment mechanism, which consists of a segmented circular limiting hole, a sliding groove and a segmented cylinder fixed pin. The sliding groove consists of groove openings respectively on the two sides of the connection part of the rotating trigger, and the sliding groove includes at least two limiting teeth formed by at least two successively connected locating holes. The segmented cylinder fixed pin passes through the segmented circular limiting hole and both ends extend out respectively from the sliding groove openings of both sides. The width of the connection of each two locating holes is the passing width of the limiting teeth, and the minimum width of the segmented cylinder fixed pin is slightly less than the passing width of the limiting teeth.

Caulking gun and sealant cartridge

A cartridge suitable for containing a sealant material and a matching caulking gun. The cartridge comprises an elongate hollow body defined by a peripheral wall. A coupling flange extends outwardly from at least a portion of the peripheral wall and has an abutment surface configured to enable engagement with a corresponding abutment surface of a caulking gun, to thereby connect the cartridge to the caulking gun. The abutment surface of the coupling flange faces upwardly towards the top end of the cartridge body and is disposed at an obtuse angle with respect to the peripheral wall so as to enable a downward force to be applied to the flange by a corresponding downwardly facing abutment surface of a caulking gun.

CAULKING GUN

The present invention relates to a caulking gun for dispensing viscous material comprising a stock a cartridge keep a push rod longitudinally moveably mounted in the stock provided at its one end with a plunger which engages the piston of a cartridge placed in the cartridge keep, means for engaging the push rod to advance it, brake means hinged to the stock and provided with a clearance hole for engaging the push rod such that the push rod is moveable in a direction advancing the push rod towards the cartridge and is held in a direction retreating the push rod from the cartridge, which brake means are arranged to travel to a first position relative to the stock as the push rod advances and to a second position as the push rod retreats thereby defining the retreat of the push rod, the brake means being inclined relative to the axis of the push rod and adjusting means for varying the retreat of the push rod.

In order to provide an adjustable caulking gun with at least two different levels of retreat of the push rod giving the user easily a visual feedback of the chosen retreat of the push rod, it is proposed according to the present invention that the adjusting means are configured as a rotatable wheel with a slope, the rotatable wheel being positioned on the axis of the push rod between the stock and the brake means, the distance between the highest point of the slope and the brake means defining the retreat of the push rod.

This rotatable wheel allows the user to select the level of retreat of the push rod by turning the wheel between a first position with no retreat of the push rod and a second position with a maximum retreat of the push rod resulting in a anti-drip behaviour of the caulking gun.

Discharge device for semi-solid materials

This invention relates to a discharge device of the dispenser gun type, which is suitable in particular for discharging semi-solid materials such as e.g. bone replacement materials. The discharge device comprises an adapter (400) which is removably attached to a main body (110) of the discharge device. A fastening structure for attachment of a container (300) is formed on the adapter substantially along a proximal direction (C) contrary to the feed direction (A). As a result various types of containers can be fastened to the machine without the need to change the mechanism of the device. The container can be provided on both ends with identical external threads and can be closed by closure caps in order to enable intuitive handling. In order to improve access to points which are difficult to reach, the container may be in the form of a curved pipe or may be formed flexibly. The piston rod (200) of the discharge device is then also formed flexibly.

EPOXY AND CAULK PLUNGER BLOWOUT PREVENTER
20250161975 · 2025-05-22 ·

A plunger for engaging a plug of a cartridge used with a dispenser. The plunger broadly comprises a first section, a second section, and an intermediate section. The first section includes a first side surface and has a first diameter. The second section is forward of the first section so that the second section engages the plug ahead of the first section. The second section includes a second side surface and has a second diameter smaller than the first diameter. The intermediate section is between the first section and the second section and has a third side surface tapering from the first side surface to the second side surface so that the intermediate section urges an annular wall of the plug radially outward against the cartridge thereby forming a seal between the annular wall and the cartridge when the plunger is urged longitudinally toward the plug.
