20180362319 · 2018-12-20 · ·

The present disclosure relates to a cleaning module-integrated beverage dispensing head, capable of selectively providing a cleaning function in addition to a conventional beverage dispensing function. A cleaning module-integrated beverage dispensing head includes a gas distributor (200) outputting a gas flowed in, and a pulse generator (100) receiving a supply of the gas supplied via a hose (300). The gas distributor (200) includes a first gas outlet (220) discharging the gas to the pulse generator (100), a second gas outlet (230) discharging the gas to a container (C) for storing liquid, an internal structure (200a) that is rotatable, and an external structure (200b) that is coupled to the internal structure (200a), to control rotation of the internal structure (200a). Whether or not to supply the gas to the pulse generator (100) through the first gas outlet (220) is determined according to whether or not the internal structure (200a) rotates.

FLUID-BASED POWDER CONVEYANCE SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MEDICAL DEVICE CLEANING AND/OR LUMEN CLEANING

Systems and methods that integrate fluid-based powder conveyance for cleaning articles, including lumens and medical devices are presented. For example, a method of cleaning an article comprises a step of flowing a first fluid comprising a cleaning agent to a chamber. Flowing the first fluid comprising the cleaning agent to the chamber creates a pressure differential across a filter fluidly coupled to the chamber. When a pressure differential reaches a threshold, indicating that the cleaning agent has been accurately metered, flow of the first fluid comprising the cleaning agent is stopped. Next, flowing a second fluid through the chamber conveys the cleaning agent to an article, e.g., through a lumen of a medical or culinary device, thereby cleaning the article.

METHODS OF CLEANING A COMPONENT WITHIN A TURBINE ENGINE

A method of cleaning a component within a turbine that includes disassembling the turbine engine to provide a flow path to an interior passageway of the component from an access point. The component has coked hydrocarbons formed thereon. The method further includes discharging a flow of cleaning solution towards the interior passageway from the access point, wherein the cleaning solution is configured to remove the coked hydrocarbons from the component.

Foot operated drain pump

A foot operated pump includes a water and airtight flexible and collapsible wall between a top plate and a base plate and an interior variable volume chamber. A flexible hose is selectively attachable to either an inlet port or an outlet port on the top plate member. The contents (air and/or liquid) within the variable volume chamber are forced out of the outlet port upon forced downward movement of the top plate member towards the base plate member. As the top plate member returns to a normally relaxed state in separated, angled relation to the base plate, the variable volume chamber enlarges and air is sucked through the inlet port to fill the variable volume chamber. An opposite end of the flexible hose attaches to various adapters and fittings for clearing clogged drain lines and other conduits.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MONITORING A FLUIDIZED SLUG IN A PIPING CONDUIT

A system and method for monitoring a fluidized slug in a piping conduit. The system includes a first sensor assembly positioned at a first location of the piping conduit, a second sensor assembly positioned at a second location of the piping conduit, the second location being downstream from the first location, and a monitoring controller. The monitoring controller is coupled to the first sensor assembly and the second sensor assembly. The monitoring controller is configured to receive first data from the first sensor assembly and second data from the second sensor assembly. The first data indicates a first characteristic of the fluidized slug within the piping conduit and the second data indicates a second characteristic of the fluidized slug within the piping conduit. The monitoring controller then generates an indication of a slug characteristic based on the first data and the second data.

APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR IMPROVING CATHETER FUNCTION

An ultrasonication apparatus is provided for improving catheter function. The ultrasonication apparatus includes a transducer configured to produce ultrasonic waves for ultrasonication and a chamber for containing a fluid having a passage for receiving a catheter. The chamber is adapted to receive the ultrasonic waves from the transducer.

METHOD FOR CLEANING EQUIPMENT WITH A HOLLOW SEALED CIRCUIT AND RINSING SOLUTION FOR ITS EMBODIMENT
20240299994 · 2024-09-12 ·

The invention relates to a method for cleaning equipment with a hollow sealed circuit and can be used in industry for cleaning equipment from salt measures, oil deposits, including asphalt paraffin, tar deposits and biological deposits. The claimed method of cleaning the inner surface of the equipment with a hollow sealed circuit consists in pumping a washing solution through an internal cavity of the said circuit with an unsteady flow regime created by local stops of the washing solution flow at the moment of oxygen or carbon dioxide gas formation, characterized by an intensity at which the pressure in the gas bubble moments of time, namely when the bubble grows, exceeds the pressure of the wash solution. The embodiment of the claimed method allows, while maintaining the cleaning efficiency, to significantly simplify its implementation and further expand the scope of use.

Methods For Negating Deposits Using Cavitation Induced Shock Waves

A method for removing a surface foulant is disclosed. An operating heat exchanger is provided. A carrier liquid that contains potential fouling agents is provided to the heat exchanger. The potential fouling agents foul at least a portion of the heat exchanger. The exchanger is operated such that the carrier liquid is at a vapor pressure equal to the operating pressure. Cavitation inducing devices are provided to the exchanger. A condition indicating fouling is detected. The cavitation inducing devices are operated on a portion of the exchanger to cause a localized pressure change, vaporizing a portion of the carrier liquid and forming a transient bubble or bubbles which collapse by cavitation, producing a localized shockwave, a re-entrant microjet, and extreme transient pressures and temperatures. These steps are repeated as necessary to remove the surface foulant. In this manner, the surface foulant is removed from the operating heat exchanger.

Apparatus, System and Method for Cleaning Inner Surfaces of Tubing

Cleaning the inside surfaces of tubes in a cracking furnace, or other type of structure with tubes, is very difficult and time consuming. An acoustic energy cleaning apparatus is provided that is clamped onto a tube, and a liquid solvent is filled within the tube. The cleaning apparatus includes an ultrasonic transducer that causes cavitation of the liquid inside the tube, which dislodges material build-up. The apparatus also includes a rigid seal cover that encompasses a lower portion of a transducer housing, and an annular resilient seal positioned within and below the seal cover. The apparatus also includes an injection hole that fluidly connects a space, defined at least by the annular resilient seal and a bottom surface of the acoustic transducer, to an external environment. A user injects gel into the injection hole.
