Variable pressure cleaning device and method
Endoscopic instruments, such as endoscopes, and devices and methods for cleaning endoscopic instruments are provided. A cleaning device for use with an endoscopic instrument comprises an elongate member configured for advancement through an internal lumen within the endoscopic instrument and a cleaning member removably coupled to a portion of the elongate member. The cleaning element comprises a variable pressure region shaped and configured to increase the hydrodynamic fluid friction force and fluid pressure force of a cleaner or detergent against the wall of the internal lumen of the endoscope to more effectively clean all internal surfaces of an endoscopic instrument, including crevasses, scratches or other irregularities, without further damaging these surfaces.
SURGICAL INSTRUMENT CLEANING BRUSH ASSEMBLY FOR USE WITH A BORESCOPE
A brush assembly for use with a borescope in cleaning a surgical instrument lumen. The brush assembly includes a shaft, a plurality of bristles or other cleaning materials, and at least one retention clip. The bristles or other cleaning materials extend from the shaft or other cleaning material. The retention clip is assembled to the shaft proximal the bristles. In some embodiments, the retention clip is permanently attached to the shaft. Regardless, the retention clip is configured for selective mounting to a borescope guide tube. Upon mounting to the borescope guide tube, the brush assembly can be deployed to clean a surgical instrument lumen, with the borescope providing a user with visual confirmation of cleaning effective by the bristles.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY IN AN AIRCRAFT
A method of retrofitting an environmental control system of an aircraft includes inserting the orifice plate through the connector slot and the connector ring slot into the receptacle. The method also includes aligning the covering portion with the connector slot.
Cleaning device for blood vessel sealing apparatus
A cleaner device is adapted to clean a blood vessel sealer device. The cleaner device includes a series of brushes that can move relative to blood vessel sealer device to scrub and clean the blood vessel sealer device when coupled to the cleaner device. The brushes can be made of any material that is adapted to clean the blood vessel sealer device. The cleaner device can also be motorized to facilitate cleaning of the blood vessel sealer device.
Tapered plug burner cleaning ports
A burner for a metal-melting furnace can releasably receive a tapered plug in sealing engagement with an access passage aligned with an air passage. The burner may be configured to extend through a wall of the metal-melting furnace so that the air passage is through a front face within the furnace and so that the access passage is through a rear face outside of the furnace. The access passage may be aligned with the air passage to permit a rigid structure to be passed through the burner from outside the furnace to dislodge build-up of solidified metal from the air passage. The tapered plug may be moveable between a sealing configuration of being received in a seat to seal the access passage during burner operation and a cleaning configuration of being removed from the seat to expose the access passage for insertion of the rigid structure.
Pipe Cleaning Device
A pipe cleaning device includes an elongated rod section having a first end, a second end, and a rod axis, the first end of the elongated rod section being oppositely disposed relative to the second end of the elongated rod section; and a tip section connected to the second end of the elongated rod section, the tip section including a plurality of textile fingers extending radially outward from a central tip portion, at least some of the plurality of textile fingers including a plurality of protruding elements projecting outwardly from a textile finger surface. The first end of the elongated rod section is configured to be coupled to a rotary motion input device that is sufficient to rotate the plurality of textile fingers of the tip section about the rod axis so as to dislodge and grab debris from an interior wall of a pipe.
FURNACE FOR PYROLYSIS
A rotary furnace (1) for pyrolyzing a feedstock, the furnace (1) comprises a rotating vessel (12) having an upstream end (12A) with an inlet (16) for receiving feedstock and a downstream end (12B) with an outlet (17A, 17B) for egress of pyrolysis products, and a gas extraction pipe (13) extending within and along the rotating vessel (12) from the downstream end (12B), the gas extraction pipe (13) having an opening (18) upstream of the downstream end (12B) to accept gaseous components generated in use.
Plumber Rotor Machine Helper Device
The present invention relates to a novel plumbing drain cable device. The drain cable device is a device for cleaning a plumbing drain blockage. The device is comprised of a flexible stainless steel corrugated tube with a nut on one end to allow connections for multiple extensions to lengthen the tube, as needed. The device has a rubber coating on the outside to help assist with grip and is cut at a 45-degree angle with rubber coating wrapped around the inside edge of the cutout to protect a user from cuts. Users would bend the tube in the direction of a drain fitting. A snake machine cable will travel through the tube of the device and up the direction of the drain to the clogged area. Thus, the device helps guide rotor machine cables through a one way clean out without getting the cable kinked and/or stuck.
