Cleaning apparatus for garbage disposals
Disclosed are various embodiments of a garbage disposal cleaning brush. The brush can include a brush head, a splash guard, and a rod. The splash guard can include a shaft, a circular channel well and a lip extending from the outer wall of the circular channel well. The rod may be connected to the brush head and extending through the shaft of the splash guard. The shaft can include a first inner wall and a first outer wall. The circular channel wall can include a hold on a bottom surface, a second inner wall, and a second outer wall.
Root cutter collar with quick changing skids
A root cutter collar with quick changing skids preferably includes a base tube, a plurality of skid bosses, a plurality of skid retainers, a plurality of threaded fasteners and a plurality of skids. The plurality of skid bosses are attached to an outside perimeter of the base tube. A pair of tapped holes are formed through each skid boss. A location pin extends outward from the skid boss and is located between the pair of tapped holes. Each skid retainer includes two through holes, which are concentric with the two tapped holes in each skid boss. Each skid includes a pair of slotted openings and a pin notch located between the pair of slotted openings. The pin notch is sized to receive the location pin. Threaded fasteners are inserted into the pair of holes in the skid retainer and tightened in the skid boss to retain the skid.
METHOD OF CLEANING A THROAT SECTION OF A JET PUMP ASSEMBLY OF A NUCLEAR REACTOR
A method of cleaning a jet pump assembly of a nuclear reactor may comprise inserting a cleaning tool into the jet pump assembly such that a front face of the cleaning tool is adjacent to an inner surface of the jet pump assembly and below a level of a first liquid in the jet pump assembly. The method may additionally comprise directing a plurality of front jets of a second liquid from a plurality of front orifices on the front face of the cleaning tool such that the plurality of front jets of the second liquid strikes the inner surface of the jet pump assembly. The method may further comprise maintaining a standoff distance between the front face of the cleaning tool and the inner surface of the jet pump assembly during the cleaning of the jet pump assembly.
