ELECTROMAGNETIC PIG FOR OIL AND GAS PIPELINES
Described herein are methods and system that use electromagnetic heating to heat pipelines, flowlines and the fluids therein. The heating is achieved by placing one or more permanent magnets in the wellbore and moving a metallic component and/or one or more permanent magnets relative to each other. This generates eddy currents in the metallic component or the pipeline wall, which heat the metallic component or pipeline wall and the fluids therein. The relative motion between the magnets and the metallic component is driven by the fluid pressure that drives the pig through the pipeline.

DEVICE FOR SEWAGE PIPE WORK
The invention relates to a device (1) for sewage pipe work, comprising: a base unit (2), which can be moved in a sewage pipe; a rotary head (3), which is disposed on the base unit (2) and can be rotated about an axis of rotation (A) associated with the rotary head (3); a first lifting arm (4), which is rotatably mounted on the rotary head (3); a holding portion (5), which is rotatably mounted on the first lifting arm (4) and is designed to hold a working device (6); a first actuator (7) for moving the holding portion (5), the first actuator being mounted on the rotary head (3); a working circuit, which is associated with the first actuator (7); and a line, which can be connected to the working device (6); wherein the working circuit associated with the first actuator (7) extends within the device (1) from the interior of the base unit (3) to the interior of the first actuator (7), and wherein the line which can be connected to the working device (6) extends within the device (1) from the interior of the base unit (2) to the interior of the holding portion (5).
PIPELINE DESCALING TOOL
A pipeline descaling tool includes a milling tool, a roller assembly and a motor. The milling tool can rotate about a longitudinal axis of the assembly and is sized to fit within an inner volume defined by a pipeline. The milling tool can mill, by rotating, solid obstructions protruding from an inner surface of the pipeline into the inner volume. The roller assembly includes multiple rollers. The roller assembly is axially coupled to the milling tool. The roller assembly can transport the pipeline tool assembly including the milling tool within the inner volume. The motor is connected to the roller assembly and to the milling tool. The motor can rotate the milling tool and power the roller assembly.

Pipeline inspection system with scale removing feature
In a pipeline inspection system, a hollow spherical ball has an internal ultrasonic vibration module, an internal battery for powering the vibration module, and an internal, wirelessly operated, control for controlling the vibration module while the ball is moving, with liquid, along the pipeline. Liquid, having a reduced oxygen content, is pumped through the pipeline, and filtered before returning to the pipeline. Each of a plurality of holes, connecting the interior to the exterior of the ball, is tapered proceeding in the direction from the interior to the exterior, resulting in the formation of a blade structure where the interior of each hole meets the outer surface of the ball at an inclined angle. When the blade structure is in contact with the wall of the pipe, and caused to vibrate by the vibration module, it is able to cut off scale from the interior of the pipe.

Surface traversing engine
A device for moving across a surface, comprising at least one section. Each section comprises a core and a drive sleeve, with the drive sleeve at least partially overlapping the core and reversibly movable relative to the core. In each section, the drive sleeve has at least one row of whiskers and the core has at least one row of whiskers, the whiskers pointing outward from the section, the whiskers capable of supporting at least the weight of the section. For each section, the reciprocal motion of the core and drive sleeve is driven by a motor.
