SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DECOKING A COKER FURNACE DURING A DELAYED COKING PROCESS
Systems and methods for efficient on-line pigging of a coker furnace without interruption of the delayed coking process, which will save time and money during the delayed coking process. This system can be retrofitted to existing coker furnaces.
PIG INCLUDING AN X-RAY FLUORESCENCE SENSOR
A pig for use in a pipeline is provided for determining the material of the pipeline in the context of an inline inspection. The pig includes a position determination unit and at least one braking arrangement for immobilizing the pig at a certain position in the pipeline. The pig also includes an X-ray fluorescence sensor.
Pipeline sphere with tracking device
A pipeline sphere is shown which houses an electronics package. The sphere is formed as a hollow elastomeric body having a predetermined wall thickness and an initially void interior. A carrier tube is positioned within the initially void interior of the sphere and is supported by oppositely arranged carrier plates which are themselves embedded within oppositely arranged end openings of the sphere. A removable inflation valve is contained in one of the valve plates at a first end of the carrier tube. The carrier tube has a plurality of apertures formed through its wall to enable inflating or deflating the sphere. One electronics package that can be used is an electrical tracking device.
METHODS FOR SMART GAS PIPELINE CLEANING MANAGEMENT FOR SAFETY MANAGEMENT AND INTERNET OF THINGS SYSTEMS THEREOF
The present disclosure provides a method of smart gas pipeline cleaning management for safety management and an Internet of Things system. The method comprises: obtaining operation feature of at least one gas pipeline and inspection data of the at least one gas pipeline; determining an area to be cleaned and an area feature of the area to be cleaned based on the operation feature of the at least one gas pipeline and the inspection data of the at least one gas pipeline; determining a pipeline cleaning solution based on the area feature of the area to be cleaned; evaluating a pipeline cleaning effect of the pipeline cleaning solution based on an implementation of the pipeline cleaning solution. The Internet of Things system comprises a smart gas user platform, a smart gas service platform, a smart gas sensing network platform, and a smart gas object platform.
PIG PUMPING UNIT
A pig pumping unit is provided that allows eight passes to be made simultaneously with a single pumping unit. A single engine is used to drive three or four pumps, each connected into separate pumping units. Two engines may thus be used to drive up to eight pumps in a single trailer.
Apparatus for circulating balls for cleaning a pipe line
The present invention relates to an apparatus for circulating balls. An embodiment of the present invention includes: a circulation path for circulating balls and fluid, the circulation path comprising a cooling water tube of a heat exchange unit; a pump arranged in the circulation path for pumping the balls and fluid; and a counter for counting the time and the number of the balls in relation to the circulation of the balls.

Subsea pig launchers
A compact subsea pig launcher comprises a tubular magazine for holding a plurality of pipeline pigs in longitudinal succession ready for launching successively into a subsea pipeline. The magazine is shaped to define at least one turn such as a coil around an upright axis. Thus, a series of pigs are stored in longitudinal succession along a path that is curved in plan view around the upright axis. During launching, at least one of the series of pigs is advanced along the path with angular movement around the upright axis.
