An actuation element movable between a first position and a second position is provided in order to select either the operational mode or else the loosening or tightening of the clamping jaws. A switchable coupling is mounted on the tool socket. The switchable coupling alternatingly engages either with the shaft or with the machine housing, depending on the positions of the actuation element.

Spindle lock for power tool

A power tool includes a housing, a motor supported by the housing, and an output spindle rotatably supported relative to the housing about an axis. The motor is operable to drive the output spindle about the axis. The power tool includes a spindle lock assembly between the motor and the output spindle. The spindle lock assembly is adjustable between an unlocked state in which the output spindle is rotatable relative to the housing about the axis and a locked state in which the output spindle is rotationally fixed relative to the housing. The spindle lock assembly includes a first resilient member, positioned between the housing and the output spindle. The first resilient member is configured to at least partially absorb a torque impulse from the output spindle when rotating in a first direction and when the spindle lock assembly transitions from the unlocked state to the locked state.

Auto sizing chuck

A chuck for a power tool includes a chuck body extending along a longitudinal axis. The chuck also includes a plurality of jaws, each with a jaw end, and each movable along a respective jaw axis between a closed position and an open position. Each respective jaw axis is oriented at an oblique angle relative to the longitudinal axis. A biasing member is coupled to the jaws and is operable to bias the jaws toward the closed position. The biasing member includes a spring. The chuck also includes a rotating assembly selectively engageable with the jaws such that, when engaged, the jaws are movable in response to rotation of the rotating assembly. The biasing member includes a guide sleeve coupled to each of the jaws and movable axially along the longitudinal axis in response to each of the jaws moving along its respective jaw axis.

A drilling chuck for operation on an impact drilling spindle, which can be subjected to tangential loading, with a chuck body, which is connected or connectable to the impact drilling spindle in which jaw guides are formed, which are arranged inclined to the chuck axis, in which clamping jaws are guided which can be adjusted by means of a threaded ring, with a clamping sleeve, which is coupled in a torque-transmitting manner to the threaded ring, and with a locking device, which is adjustable between a release configuration which enables a relative rotation of the threaded ring with respect to the chuck body, and a locking configuration which obstructs or prevents this relative rotation. The locking device is formed from a locking sleeve, which is essentially rotationally fixed but axially displaceable with respect to the chuck body, which locking sleeve comprises at least one locking member.

Self-locking drill chuck

A self-locking drill chuck is disclosed herein. Among the rotating sleeve, the spring leaf and the nut, the nut is rotated by the rotating sleeve without being driven by the spring leaf, the spring leaf is loaded on the nut to rotate with the nut synchronously, under normal state, the locking end of the spring leaf is in a closed state against the teeth, and the self-locking drill chuck is also provided with a state switching part which is connected with the rotating sleeve and rotates with the rotating sleeve synchronously; the spring leaf is provided with a state switching matching structure. The nut is directly driven by a rotating sleeve without the spring leaf during the rotating process in the clamping direction or the releasing direction, which can enhance the hand feeling and efficiency in the clamping operation; the spring leaf has self-locking functions which can be in normally closed and the elastic force is opposite to the centrifugal force, greatly enhancing the reliability of the drill chuck self-locking structure.

CHUCK ASSEMBLY FOR A ROTARY POWER TOOL

A chuck assembly for a rotary power tool includes a chuck body rotatable about a central axis. The chuck body has a plurality of slots, each oriented at an oblique angle relative to the central axis. The chuck assembly also includes a plurality of jaws, each movable along a respective one of the slots. The chuck assembly also includes a collar coupled to the plurality of jaws. The collar is selectively engageable with the chuck body such that, when engaged, the plurality of jaws are movable along the plurality of slots in response to rotation of the collar.

Self-locking drill chuck

A self-locking drill chuck includes rotating sleeve provided with a convex leaf spring fixed on a rotating sleeve on both ends, its nut or the ring fixedly connected with the nut provided with a first groove and a second groove matching with the convex portion of the convex leaf spring, and the self-locking structure including a ring tooth on the drill body and a rotatable locking block disposed on the nut or ring fixedly connected to the nut. The nut or ring fixedly connected to the nut is also provided with a leaf spring, and the rotating sleeve is provided with a first part compressing the leaf spring and a second part compressing the locking block. The self-locking drill chuck can achieve positioning fit of metals, and self-locking and unlocking switching is realized by the lever without the interference phenomenon in the self-locking structure.

Locking chuck

A chuck has a body (14). A plurality of first teeth (96) are rotationally fixed to the body. At least one second tooth (100) opposes the first teeth. The first teeth and the at least one second tooth are configured so that engagement of the first teeth and the at least one second tooth prevents relative rotation between a nut (16) and the body in an opening direction. A sleeve (18) defines a notch (90b) that engages a spring (29) so that in a relative rotational position between the sleeve and the nut, the notch receives the spring so that the notch resists relative rotational movement between the sleeve and the spring in the opening direction of the chuck.
