Self-locking drill chuck

A self-locking drill chuck is disclosed herein. Among the rotating sleeve, the spring leaf and the nut, the nut is rotated by the rotating sleeve without being driven by the spring leaf, the spring leaf is loaded on the nut to rotate with the nut synchronously, under normal state, the locking end of the spring leaf is in a closed state against the teeth, and the self-locking drill chuck is also provided with a state switching part which is connected with the rotating sleeve and rotates with the rotating sleeve synchronously; the spring leaf is provided with a state switching matching structure. The nut is directly driven by a rotating sleeve without the spring leaf during the rotating process in the clamping direction or the releasing direction, which can enhance the hand feeling and efficiency in the clamping operation; the spring leaf has self-locking functions which can be in normally closed and the elastic force is opposite to the centrifugal force, greatly enhancing the reliability of the drill chuck self-locking structure.

A chuck assembly for a rotary power tool includes a chuck body rotatable about a central axis. The chuck body has a plurality of slots, each oriented at an oblique angle relative to the central axis. The chuck assembly also includes a plurality of jaws, each movable along a respective one of the slots. The chuck assembly also includes a collar coupled to the plurality of jaws. The collar is selectively engageable with the chuck body such that, when engaged, the plurality of jaws are movable along the plurality of slots in response to rotation of the collar.

Self-locking drill chuck

A self-locking drill chuck includes rotating sleeve provided with a convex leaf spring fixed on a rotating sleeve on both ends, its nut or the ring fixedly connected with the nut provided with a first groove and a second groove matching with the convex portion of the convex leaf spring, and the self-locking structure including a ring tooth on the drill body and a rotatable locking block disposed on the nut or ring fixedly connected to the nut. The nut or ring fixedly connected to the nut is also provided with a leaf spring, and the rotating sleeve is provided with a first part compressing the leaf spring and a second part compressing the locking block. The self-locking drill chuck can achieve positioning fit of metals, and self-locking and unlocking switching is realized by the lever without the interference phenomenon in the self-locking structure.

Locking chuck

A chuck has a body (14). A plurality of first teeth (96) are rotationally fixed to the body. At least one second tooth (100) opposes the first teeth. The first teeth and the at least one second tooth are configured so that engagement of the first teeth and the at least one second tooth prevents relative rotation between a nut (16) and the body in an opening direction. A sleeve (18) defines a notch (90b) that engages a spring (29) so that in a relative rotational position between the sleeve and the nut, the notch receives the spring so that the notch resists relative rotational movement between the sleeve and the spring in the opening direction of the chuck.

A drill chuck having a chuck body, having a clamping sleeve with a conical basic shape that can rotate about the chuck axis of the chuck body, by the rotation of which clamping sleeve a plurality of clamping jaws can be moved relative to the clamping body. The clamping sleeve is made in two parts, having a conical, metallic outer sleeve, having a conical, inner sleeve made of plastic, wherein the outer sleeve has a cylindrical subsection on its inner circumference for radial centering of the outer sleeve on the inner sleeve. A clamping sleeve and a method for producing knurling on the clamping sleeve are also provided.

Self-locking drill chuck

The present invention provide a self-locking drill chuck, its rotating sleeve is provided with a convex leaf spring fixed to a rotating sleeve at both ends, its nut or ring fixedly connected with the nut are provided with a first groove and a second groove matching with the convex portion of the leaf spring; the self-locking structure includes a ring tooth on the drill body and rotatable locking block arranged on the nut or ring fixedly connected to the nut, the nut or ring fixedly connected to the nut is provided with a leaf spring, the rotating sleeve is provided with a first part compressing the leaf spring and a second part compressing the locking block. This invention can achieve positioning matching between metals, which has a stronger holding force for maintaining self-locking state of the drill chuck, greatly enhancing the operating feel.

The invention relates to a chuck having a sleeve, a chuck body, a plurality of chuck jaws, an adjusting mechanism configured to adjust relative movement between the chuck jaws and the chuck body, at least one locating member and a pushing mechanism. The locating member is disposed on the chuck body between the adjacent chuck jaws. When the adjusting mechanism drives the chuck jaws to approach to each other relative to the longitudinal axis, the pushing mechanism pushes the locating member to move towards the longitudinal axis. When the adjusting mechanism drives the chuck jaws to move away from each other relative to the longitudinal axis, the pushing mechanism pushes the locating member to move away from the longitudinal axis. Therefore, the operation is more convenient and safer; the aligning effect is precise and reliable, and the pre-tightening force is stable.

A chuck (10) for use with a power driver having a rotatable drive spindle. The chuck may include a sleeve (60) comprising a sleeve tightening surface (62) that may be configured to engage with a nut tightening surface (502) to tighten a nut (50) when the sleeve is rotated into a tightening position. With the sleeve disposed in a sleeve locked position, a click pawl (732) may be engaged with a click stopping edge (771) of one of the plurality of click teeth (756) to inhibit rotation of the nut in a first rotational direction to loosen the nut. A lock pawl (722) may also be engaged with a lock stopping edge (761) of one of the plurality of lock teeth (755) to inhibit rotation of the sleeve in a second rotational direction due to the inertia in the sleeve that would tend to further tighten the nut.
