Spindle Clamp For Tool Holder
20170225237 · 2017-08-10 · ·

A machine tool clamping device for releasably holding a tool holder having a tapered shank and a knob protruding from the tapered shank, the clamping device having: a spindle, rotatable about an axis, and having a tapered socket at a lower end thereof and an axial passage, the tapered socket being complementary in shape to the shank of a tool holder. Clamping members are pinned to the spindle and extend into the axial passage, the clamping members being pivotal between a clamped position in which the clamping members clamp the tool holder knob, and an unclamped position in which the clamping members release the tool holder knob. A drawbar is slidable within the spindle axial passage between the clamping members, the drawbar having a surface that acts to pivot the clamping members between the clamped and unclamped positions depending on the position of the drawbar within the axial passage. A spring is arranged between the drawbar and the spindle to bias the drawbar to the clamped position.

A device for simultaneously measuring and adjusting the tool holding portion of a spindle. The device has a body defining a datum surface providing a magnetic portion and an indicator portion. A socket extends from the magnetic portion, the socket dimensioned and adapted to receive and seat a first component of the tool holding portion on the magnetic portion. A compressible indicator tip extends in an outward-biased manner from the indicator portion, wherein a distance from the distal end of the indicator tip and the indicator portion of the datum surface is displayed along the body.

Gripper module

The present disclosure provides a gripper module, including a base, an adapter holder, a collet holder, and an actuator. The base is adapted for an adapter to be detachably disposed thereon. The adapter holder is able to engage and to buckle the adapter. The collet holder is able to engage and to buckle a collet which is installed in the adapter. The actuator is connected to the collet holder. The actuator can pull the collet holder and the collet to move, causing pressing and retraction of the collet by the conical surface between the collet and the adapter. Therefore, sizes of collets may apply to the gripper module with the adapter. By sheathing the adapter, replacement and size alternation of the collets are made easier, and precisions of allocations of the collet and the gripped workpiece are improved.

Spindle structure

The present disclosure provides a spindle structure including a base, a spindle, a sliding member, a restoring mechanism, and a restriction member. The spindle is rotatably received in the base and forms a receiving room. An end of the receiving room is a blind end communicating exterior via a gas channel. The sliding member is slidably received in the receiving room, and two ends thereof are a piston and a driving portion respectively. A gas cavity is defined between the piston and the blind end. The sliding member tends to move toward the blind end due to the restoring mechanism. The restriction member is connected to the driving portion and radially deforms when the sliding member slides so as to fix or to release the tool-holder. The sliding member slides outward when the gas cavity is injected with gas via the gas channel.

Main shaft for rotating tool

A rotating-tool main shaft includes a hollow ram, a hollow main shaft, a collet, a draw bar that moves the collet in the axial direction, a hydraulic cylinder that moves forwardly the draw bar, and a disc spring that moves backwardly the draw bar. The draw bar includes a spring catch which is retained in the hollow main shaft so as to be movable, and which catches the disc spring. The disc spring is placed in the hollow main shaft, and is placed within a distance that is at least a half of a distance from a tip of the draw bar to the spring catch in the axial direction.

A spindle includes a housing including a first opening, a bearing housed in the housing, a main shaft rotatably supported by the bearing, a collet chuck in a first through hole defined in the main shaft to grip a machining tool and being movable in an axial direction of the main shaft, a draw bar connected to the collet chuck, and a cover covering the first opening and including a second through hole through which the main shaft is disposed. The main shaft and the cover are disposed at a distance from each other.

Tool turret

A tool turret, in particular provided for the use for a machine tool, has a pivotable tool disk (10), which has on its outer circumference a plurality of receptacles (14) for holders (18) provided with working tools. The holders (18) are attached to the tool disk (10) in a changeable manner by a fixing device (20). Each holder (18) can be swiveled into a working position to permit the assigned working tool to be driven by a drive (22). For this purpose, the working tool can be coupled to an output shaft (16) of the respective holder (18) by a coupling device (26). The fixing device (20) can be actuated by the drive (22) when this drive (22) is uncoupled while stopping the working tool.

CLAMPING DEVICE FOR TOOL HOLDER
