Rotary Positioner with Outriggers.
20190022808 · 2019-01-24 ·

Present invention relates to a rotary positioner that allows a welding table's work surface to be set at an angle as desired by a user. Two vertical frames can move and slide along the length of a chassis-bar to adjust the distance between the two vertical frames. As long as the length of a welding table does not exceed the total greatest distance between the two vertical frames, the present invention can fit any work table or welding table. Caster wheels and height adjustment knobs allow for easy movement and balancing of the rotary positioner.

MULTIPLE-AXIS MACHINING CENTER WITH A TOOL MAGAZINE
20240261916 · 2024-08-08 ·

A machining center includes two independent carriages that are supported so that they can slide along respective longitudinal translation axes by a pair of parallel horizontal rails which are extended along a longitudinal direction and are fixed in a raised position to a supporting structure. Each one of the carriages supports a machining head which can move along a transverse translation axis and along a vertical translation axis by guiding components. Each of the machining heads supports a tool holding spindle so that it can rotate about a horizontal rotation axis by rotary support components. A workpiece holding table is supported at a base of the supporting structure so that it can rotate about a first rotation axis which is extended in a horizontal and longitudinal direction. Two mechanized tool magazines at the opposite longitudinal ends of the supporting structure are accessible by the spindles.

Disclosed herein is a tool-inclining system, which is characterized in that it is provided with a structure that is simple, compact, and able to operate according to an altogether reliable mode of operation. The system comprises: a base for securing said system to a structure that is to carry said tool, such as a robot arm; a support on which said tool is to be fixed, said support being configured in such a way that said tool fixed to said support defines a working axis (S); a connection member for connection of said support to said base, said member allowing a given angular movement of said support so that said working axis displaces, starting from a neutral position, according to a tilting movement; and fluid countering means or elastic countering means, which act on said support so as to exert an action that counters said tilting movement.
