Machine Tool
The machine tool has a machine bed (10) having a first horizontal linear guide (1) and a second horizontal linear guide (2) arranged at right angles to the first linear guide (1). On the first linear guide (1) is arranged, in an axially displaceable manner, a workpiece clamping fixture (3), which is swivelable about a swivel axis (4) oriented parallel to the second linear guide (2) and is rotatable about a rotation axis (5) oriented at right angles to the swivel axis (4). On the second linear guide (2) a toque motor driven swivel arm (6) is axially displaceable, the swivel axis (7) of which is arranged parallel to the first linear guide (1) and which on its free end bears a tool spindle (8), the axis (9) of which is oriented parallel to the first linear guide (1).
MACHINE TOOL
A machine tool includes a shielding cover, a door, and an automatic tool changer. The shielding cover covers a machining space of a main spindle. The door opens and closes an opening disposed in the shielding cover. The automatic tool changer automatically exchanges a tool to be mounted to the main spindle. The automatic tool changer exchanges the tool to be mounted to the main spindle by turning an arm in a plane perpendicular to the main spindle so as to cause the arm to enter into and exit from the machining space. The arm is configured to grip and release the tool. The turning of the arm is synchronized with the opening and closing movement of the door.
Machine tool and operation method therefor
The present disclosure relates to a machine tool, such as a moving column-type machining center, and a method of operating the same, which are capable of shortening tool change time, improving productivity, minimizing a collision or mechanical interference, and increasing stability and reliability in a medium-sized or large-sized machine tool having a long length in a width direction by means of a magazine installed on a saddle, a tool changing unit movably installed on the saddle, and a tool changing unit transfer part configured to move the tool changing unit independently of a column.
TOOLING ASSEMBLY WITH INTERNAL COOLANT PASSAGES FOR MACHINES
A tooling assembly for a machine having an automatic tool changing system includes a tool body disposed about a rotational axis and defining an internal passage operable to flow a fluid therein. The internal passage includes an inlet, stem channel, first and second curved channels, and first and second transition portions. The inlet is configured to receive the fluid from the machine. First and second outlets are open through an exterior of the tool body. The stem channel is in fluid communication with the inlet and ends at a beginning of the first and second transition portions. The first curved channel extends from the first transition portion to the first outlet. The second curved channel extends from the second transition portion to the second outlet.
Tool changer
A tool changer includes a tool magazine, a support shaft disposed to have a center axis parallel to an axis of a tool spindle, a drive mechanism for rotating the support shaft about the center axis and moving the support shaft in the axial direction, three tool change arms fixed to the support shaft and each having a tool holding unit, a tool transfer mechanism for transferring a tool pot from the tool magazine to a standby position, and a provisional placing pot disposed at a provisional placing position. The tool changer starts a tool change operation in a state where a tool to be attached to the tool spindle, a tool to be used next, and a tool to be used after the next tool are held by the tool holding units of the tool change arms.
Tool pot
A tool pot includes a resin-made pot body and a metallic reinforcing member embedded in the pot body by insert molding. The reinforcing member is provided with a reinforcing plate embedded in a portion including a horizontal pin insertion portion in the pot body. The reinforcing plate is provided with a lightening hole so as to avoid the horizontal pin insertion portion.
GANTRY TYPE CONVEYING DEVICE AND PROCESSING LINE
This gantry type conveying device is provided with: a beam which is horizontally installed; a runner traveling along the beam; an elevator supported to be movable in the vertical direction with respect to the runner; and a loading part which is supported by the lower portion of the elevator and on which a workpiece is loaded. This processing line has the gantry type conveying device and a machine tool. The machine tool is provided with: a base; and a workpiece supporting device provided movable with respect to the base in a forward and backward direction perpendicular to the extending direction of the beam when viewed in a plane.
TOOL MOUNTING STOCKER, TOOL STORING DEVICE AND TOOL/HAND STORING DEVICE, AND TOOL REPLACING METHOD BY ROBOT AND CONTROL DEVICE THEREOF
In a tool storing device handling a tool mounting stocker in which a punch and a die of a press brake are mounted in one stocker with rear surfaces facing each other, each of the stockers is supported on both sides by endless belts having one driving shaft, and the endless belts are circulated so that each of the supported stockers does not protrude to a worker side, whereby a position of a path line of the appropriate one of the stockers can be freely positioned at a position of the path line PL of a tool holder on the press brake side. This enables rapid and easy tool replacement by a bending robot by storing not only the tool made of the punch and the die but also the hand for the robot together.
MACHINE TOOL HAVING A MACHINE MAGAZINE AND A BACKGROUND MAGAZINE
In a machine tool having at least one tool spindle which is displaceable in relation to a device for holding workpieces in at least one of three spatial directions and in which the tools (W1-W7) for processing the workpieces can be chucked, there are provided a machine magazine (36) in which tools (W1-W7) provided for exchange in the tool spindle (23) are kept in store and a background magazine (31) in which tools (W1-W7) provided for exchange in the machine magazine (36) are kept in store. In the machine magazine (36), not more than four storage places (42, 43, 44, 45) for accommodating tools (W1-W7) are provided (FIG. 2).
