A device for evaluating aspects of health of a residential property configured to: (i) receive a first element of internal home health data captured by one or more smart devices installed within a residential property, the first element of internal home health data reflecting an aspect of operational quality of one or more assets of the residential property; (ii) determine a safety score based upon the first element of internal home health data; (iii) receive a second element of internal home health data captured by the one or more smart devices; (iv) determine a home health score based upon the first or second elements of internal home health data, the home health score representing a measure of health of the residential property; and (v) cause to be displayed, to a homeowner via a graphical user interface, a home health evaluation that includes the safety score and the home health score.

System for managing distributed energy resources at an edge structure

A system for managing a plurality of distributed energy resources associated with a structure is disclosed. The structure is at the edge of an electric utility network and receives electric power from the network and may include, for example, a house or building. The structure has distributed energy resources such as solar panels or an electric vehicle charging devices. The system comprises a monitoring unit configured to be electrically coupled to a panel assembly of the structure and a plurality of communication interfaces coupled to the monitoring unit and configured to serve as an access point for the distributed energy resources. The monitoring unit is configured to partially monitor or control functionality of a given distributed energy resource of the plurality of distributed energy resources that is utilizing the access point. The monitoring unit is configured to pass communications between the given distributed energy resource and a vendor associated with the given distributed energy resource.

Provided are a frequency modulation method, device and system based on a new energy support machine and an energy storage device, and a new energy field station. The method includes: acquiring a system frequency offset value; determining a frequency modulation scheme for the new energy support machine and/or the energy storage device according to the system frequency offset value; generating a frequency modulation instruction for the new energy support machine and/or the energy storage device according to the frequency modulation scheme, so that the new energy support machine and/or the energy storage device execute a corresponding frequency modulation instruction and modulate the system frequency. The method has high regularity, flexibility in rule adjustment and good real-time performance. When the system frequency of a power grid fluctuates, a new energy support machine with higher durability is selected to support the power grid. The electrochemical energy storage device with poorer durability is selected to support the power grid only when the frequency fluctuation of the system is excessive, thereby reducing the number of times the energy storage device is used, realizing the safe operation of the energy storage device, and improving the use safety of the energy storage device.
