The body waste cleaning system further includes at least one blowing device coupled to the at least one controller. The blowing device configured to expose a target area to air movement when activated by the at least one controller. The body waste cleaning system further includes at least one dispensing mechanism coupled to the at least one controller and connected to the at least one storage reservoir. The at least one dispensing mechanism is configured to dispense a portion of the at least one fluid substance onto the target area when activated by the at least one controller.
Sanitizing Methods
This disclosure relates to a method for sanitizing the air and surfaces in a space. The method includes dispersing a sanitizing composition containing a glycol (e.g., triethylene glycol) into the space at a frequency to maintain the sanitizing composition in an aerosol form at a concentration ranging from about 0.02 mg/m3 to about 0.09 mg/m3 in the space.
SANITATION SYSTEM FOR SANITIZING AN OBJECT BY MEANS OF SANITIZING ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION
A sanitation system for sanitizing an object is disclosed. The system comprises a support surface having a target location arranged to receive the object; an illumination module arranged to radiate the target location with sanitizing electromagnetic radiation (SER); a dosimeter module comprising at least a first dosimeter arranged to measure a dose of SER emitted by the illumination module and received by the dosimeter (the measured dose); a database storing instructions indicating the required dose of SER to reach the target location (the required dose); and a control module in communication with the illumination module, the database and the dosimeter module. The control module is arranged to receive from the dosimeter module the level of the measured dose. The control module is further arranged to control, based on the level of the measured dose, the illumination module such that the required dose reaches the target location.
Hydrogen peroxide vaporizer arrangement in a disinfecting device
An improved vaporizer part, such as an evaporator element of a disinfection device is for an aqueous solution of hydrogen peroxide. The evaporator element includes one, and/or a branching, meandering structure, in which the straight sections of the groove are joined by 180-degree meanders near edges of the evaporator element. An end pit with an overflow guard is for overflown liquid. Heating elements are used both in connection with the evaporator element to enhance evaporation and on the inner surfaces of the device to prevent condensation. An air blower creates desired vortices near the surface of the evaporator element. The air control element also makes the air flow more laminar. The actual travel of the liquid on the evaporator element functions gravitationally on an inclined surface, and the capillary effect increases the evaporating area of the liquid. A disinfection device includes the vaporizer part.
System for controlling a sterile volume
The invention relates to a system for controlling (26) the asepsis of a sterile volume (23), the system (26) comprising:at least one detection sensor (28) which is configured to allow detecting an intrusion (30) in the sterile volume (23) and to output a signal (34a) relating to said detection,a system for determining (32) an aseptic fault of the sterile volume (23), which is configured to receive the at least one signal (34a) from the at least one detection sensor (28) and to determine an aseptic fault of the sterile volume (23) on the basis of the at least one received signal (34a).
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR STERILIZING VEHICLE
A system for sterilizing an interior of a vehicle includes: a sterilizer disposed on a driver's seat of the vehicle and configured to sterilize the interior of the vehicle; a driver detection sensor configured to detect a presence of a driver inside the vehicle; a seat movement adjustment mechanism configured to move the seat; and a controller configured to, in response to receiving a non-detection signal from the driver detection sensor, send driving signals to the seat movement adjustment mechanism and then apply a sterilizer operation signal for operating the sterilizer for a certain period of time upon movement of the driver's seat.
Apparatus for disinfection of occupied spaces
A Selected-area Ultraviolet Disinfection (SUD) system which enables increased frequency of ultraviolet light treatment of spaces by improving the convenience, cost, safety, and/or efficacy. The core utility of the SUD system is to frequently and safely disinfect spaces where occupants are conducting their normal activities, enabled by a system constructed with a disinfecting light source that can direct and irradiate only selected areas (and corresponding volumes) that sensing and control components have determined are safe to disinfect, i.e. are not currently occupied.
BASE STATIONS HAVING OCCUPANCY SENSORS, DOOR MOVEMENT SENSORS, AND/OR AIR DISINFECTION CAPABILITY IN CONJUCTION WITH PORTABLE AREA/ROOM DISINFECTION APPARATUSES
Receptacles and systems having occupancy sensors and/or air disinfection capability in conjunction with portable area/room disinfection apparatuses are provided. An embodiment of a receptacle for receiving a portable disinfection apparatus includes a sensor for detecting occupancy or potential occupancy in an area/room and a wireless transmitter communicably coupled to the sensor. Embodiments of other receptacles include an air moving device for drawing air from an ambient of receptacle and configurations to provide an air channel from the air moving device to an area at which germicide from a portable disinfection apparatus is emitted when the portable disinfection apparatus is arranged in the receptacle. An embodiment of a system includes a receptacle for receiving a portable disinfection apparatus and an air duct fluidly coupled to a port of the receptacle and extending through a wall of a room in which the receptacle is arranged.
STERILIZATION APPARATUS
A light module includes a support including a first region and a second region, a light source disposed on the support, and a reflector disposed on the support and covering at least a side of the light source. The reflector includes a first reflector disposed on the first region and a second reflector disposed on the second region. The first reflector includes a first slope extending along a longitudinal direction of the first region, and the second reflector includes a second slope extending along a longitudinal direction the second region. The second slope has a width that is longer than a width of the first slope.
