A razor includes a razor cartridge including at least one shaving blade, a handle having an internal space, and a head unit. The head unit includes a cartridge-engaging segment configured to be coupled to the razor cartridge, and a handle-engaging segment having at least a portion configured to be inserted into the internal space and including a first cantilever section that is configured: to be inserted into the internal space by contacting at least a portion of an inner circumferential surface of the internal space, and to be at least partially elastically deformable such that a diameter of the first cantilever section along a length of the first cantilever section decreases toward a free end of the first cantilever section contacting the inner circumferential surface initially and being squeezed toward a longitudinal central axis of the handle-engaging segment when the first cantilever section is inserted into the internal space.

A shaving razor system includes a razor handle that docks with a razor cartridge. The handle is configured to dock with the razor cartridge using a single hook configured to mate with a cartridge tab. A central pushrod is mounted with a spring into the handle and is configured to exert a pushing force on the mounted cartridge. To eject the cartridge, the single hook may be pushed to pivot to the side of the cartridge tab, and thereby release the razor cartridge by ejecting it with the spring loaded pushrod.

Shaving cartridges pivotable about two axes

A connector for attaching a cartridge to a handle. The connector is adapted to rotate around a rocking axis with respect to the handle. The connector includes a pair of arms adapted to attach the connector to the cartridge, a holder adapted to attach the connector to the handle, and at least a pair of resilient lateral tongues protruding from the connector and positioned symmetrically with regard to a connector axis. One of the lateral tongues is adapted to flex when the connector is rotated in a first direction around the rocking axis, and the other lateral tongue is adapted to flex when the connector is rotated in a second direction around the rocking axis.

A razor cartridge comprising three or more substantially parallel cutting members disposed between a leading longitudinal side and a trailing longitudinal side of the razor cartridge in a shaving direction of the razor cartridge. Each of the cutting members comprises a blade support comprising a blade mounting portion disposed on an inner surface of the respective blade support that, in use, faces away from a shaving plane, and a blade attached to the blade mounting portion. The cutting members are disposed to define a plurality of inter-blade spans between cutting edges of the blades. A leading inter-blade span that is closer to the leading longitudinal side of the razor cartridge than a trailing inter-blade span is different to the trailing inter-blade span that is closer to the trailing longitudinal side of the razor cartridge than the leading inter-blade span.
