RECIPROCATING RAZOR HAVING BLADES LINKED TO FACILITATE OPPOSITELY DIRECTED MOVEMENT
A shaving razor. A first and second blade assembly each have a cutting edge oriented to shave in the same direction. The first and second blade assemblies are each displaceable along a respective first and second path substantially parallel to their cutting edge. First and second linkages couple together a first ends and second ends respectively of the first and second blade assembly. The linkages are configured such that a displacement of the first blade assembly in a first direction along the first path causes a displacement of the second blade assembly in an opposite direction along the second path. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.
RAZOR EXPOSURE
Disclosed here are shaving razor systems and methods including razor cartridges with a unitary frame having a length and width, a topside and an underside, wherein the unitary frame includes angled joints or bends connecting at least three guards running lengthwise on the unitary frame, the guards separated by at least three gaps in the frame, and at least three blades, affixed to the underside of the guards of the unitary frame, wherein the at least three blades include edges, and wherein the blade edges extend into the gaps in the frame when affixed to the underside of the guards of the unitary frame.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TRIMMING DREADLOCKS
A trimming assembly for dreadlocks comprises a handle. A cutting head is operatively connected to the handle. The cutting head comprises a cutting head body defining a receptacle at a radial end thereof. The receptacle is structured to receive a dreadlock. A blade protector is positioned axially within the receptacle. A curvature of the blade protector corresponds to a curvature of an inner wall of the receptacle. A blade is interposed between the blade protector and the inner wall. The blade defines a cutting edge at an axial end thereof proximate to the handle. The cutting edge is structured to cut loose hair protruding outwards from the dreadlock as the cutting head is moved along the dreadlock.
RAZOR HEAD WITH IMPROVED SPRING FINGERS
A shaving blade cartridge comprising a housing and at least one cutting blade mounted in a blade receiving section of the housing between first and second lateral sides of the housing, wherein one or more cutting blades is movably supported by fingers such that the at least one cutting blade can move from a first position to at least one second position, wherein one or more fingers are designed such that the at least one cutting blade is supported by at least one first contact point or area of the finger when the at least one cutting blade is in the first position, and in that the at least one cutting blade is supported by at least one second contact point or area of the finger when the at least one cutting blade is in the second position.
RAZOR HEAD WITH IMPROVED SPRING FINGERS
A shaving blade cartridge comprising a housing and at least one cutting blade mounted in a blade receiving section of the housing between first and second lateral sides of the housing, wherein the at least one cutting blade is movably supported by fingers such that the at least one cutting blade can move from a first position to at least one second position, wherein one or more fingers is designed such that the cutting blade is supported by at least one first contact point or area of the finger when the at least one cutting blade is in the first position, and in that the at least one cutting blade is supported by at least one second contact point or area of the finger when the at least one cutting blade is in the second position.
Razor system
A shaving cartridge (1) with connectors (3) on each side portion of the plurality of side portions (2C) of the housing (2D) and a plurality of cutting members (7). Each of the connectors is operable to permit the side portions to pivot relative to each other. Thus, the housing will assume different configurations and is operable to adapt to and follow a contour defined by a shaving surface.
RAZOR CARTRIDGE
A cartridge for a razor comprises at least one blade and a first blade support configured to attach the at least one blade to the cartridge. The first blade support includes a first portion, a second portion, and a third portion, a first optical feature provided on one or more of the first portion, the second portion, and the third portion. The first optical feature is selected from one or more of a color, a coating, a texture, a perforation, a transparency of the blade support, a light emitting source, a protrusion and a sticker.
Spacer for razor
A razor blade assembly has a handle, a head having a cutting blade assembly of one or more cutting blades connected to the handle; and a spacer which is mounted to or is formed as part of the head to space the cutting edges of the blades from the skin of a user to create and maintain a 5 o'clock shadow appearance beard in the range of 0.1 mm to 0.4 mm in thickness.
Reciprocating razor assembly with different amplitudes of motion
A shaving razor having at least two independent blade assemblies coupled to substantially rigid linkages. The linkages each defining a pivot point between the two independent blade assemblies. A bridge spans between the linkages such that movement of the bridge causes pivoting about the pivot point enabling reciprocating motion of the blade assemblies where assemblies on opposite sides of the pivot point reciprocate in opposite directions.
CONNECTION SYSTEM FOR SAFETY RAZORS
A connection system for connecting a safety razor handle (50) to a replaceable blade cartridge (10), comprising: a cartridge connecting structure (120) attached to the replaceable blade cartridge (10); and a handle connecting structure (102) attached to the safety razor handle (50) and configured to be brought into engagement with the cartridge connecting structure (120) along a connection axis, wherein the handle connecting structure (102) comprises a lever (112) mounted to a body (103), the lever (112) having a user end (113) to be actuated by a user, a working end (114), and a rotation axis (115) about which the lever (112) is rotatable with respect to the body (103), the rotation axis (115) being situated between the user end (113) and the working end (114), and the working end (114) of the lever (112) is configured to exert a pushing force on the cartridge connecting structure (120) when the lever (112) is rotated by actuation of the user end (113), to eject the cartridge connecting structure (120) from the handle connecting structure (102).
