CUTTING WASTE REMOVING DEVICE, SLOTTER DEVICE, AND BOX MAKING MACHINE
A cutting waste removing device, installed in a box making machine for manufacturing corrugated cardboard boxes from a corrugated cardboard sheet, to remove cutting waste generated in a cutting process performed by a paper discharging unit of the box making machine, is provided with an air blowing device which is disposed along a travel region in a device width direction, through which cut processed portions of the corrugated cardboard sheet and the cutting waste travel, and which ejects air toward the cutting waste in such a way as to include a vertically downward directional component in a prescribed ejection mode, and a control device for performing intermittent on-off control of the operation of the air blowing device, wherein the control device controls the air blowing device to be on only at a timing at which the cutting waste passes through an air ejection region of the air blowing device.
Printing apparatus and method for removing contaminants in printing apparatus
A printing apparatus includes a printing portion that performs printing on a medium, a cutting portion that is capable of moving in a movement direction and that has cutting blades that cut the medium and a housing unit that holds the cutting blades, and a contact portion provided at a position at which the contact portion comes into contact with the housing unit when the cutting portion moves in the movement direction.
Printing apparatus and control method with cutter unit configured to connect with or separate from printing unit
There is provided a printing apparatus. A printing unit prints an image on a printing medium and is able to move. A cutter unit is able to connect with or separate from the printing unit, and, by following a movement of the printing unit, cuts the printing medium. A setting unit sets, in accordance with a size of the printing medium, a standby position of the cutter unit.
PLUNGE SLITTING WITH ENHANCED SCRAP THREADING CAPABILITY USING EDGE TRIM FILLER
A slitting machine for threading scrap material has first and second arbors; and inner rotary knives and outer rotary knives disposed on each of the first and second arbors. A pair of rolls of fill material are positioned relative to the outer rotary knives. The rolls dispense fill material onto a strip of material so that the fill material is engaged by and cut by the outer knives as well as the strip portion overlaid by the fill material to be cut by the outer rotary knives.
PLUNGE SLITTING WITH ENHANCED SCRAP THREADING CAPABILITY USING MULTIPLE SIZE KNIVES
A slitting machine for threading scrap material has first and second arbors. A first set of rotary knives are disposed on each of the first and second arbors having a first diameter. A second set of rotary knives are disposed on each of the first and second arbors having a second diameter. The second diameter is smaller than the first diameter. As the arbor gap is closed, the first set of rotary knives cut edge trim and when the arbor gap is further closed, the second set of rotary knives cut mutts from the strip.
PRODUCTION MACHINE DIAGNOSING SYSTEM AND METHOD, BOX MAKING MACHINE, AND REMOTE MONITORING SYSTEM
This production machine diagnosing system and method, box making machine, and remote monitoring system include a data collecting unit for collecting operation data of a plurality of drive devices, and a diagnosing unit for detecting an abnormality on the basis of the operation data of the plurality of drive devices collected by the data collecting unit, wherein the diagnosing unit comprises: a first diagnosing unit which, when a first drive device among the plurality of drive devices, for driving an apparatus that conveys a sheet, is driven, detects an abnormality on the basis of the operation data of the first drive device; and a second diagnosing unit which, when a second drive device other than the first drive device, among the plurality of drive devices, is driven, detects an abnormality on the basis of the operation data of the second drive device.
Arrangement for cutting paper board sheets, and machine comprising said arrangement
An arrangement for cutting paper board sheets. The arrangement includes a first wheel and a second wheel. The first wheel is arranged to rotate around a first axis. The first wheel includes a knife and an element formed as a circular arc with substantially the same radius as the peripheral surface of the first wheel and a corresponding recess formed in the first wheel peripheral surface. The element is pivotally arranged around an axis substantially parallel to the first axis in the recess and the knife is extending from the element such that the position of the knife in relation to the first wheel is adjusted by pivoting the peripheral element by adjustment structure arranged to secure the peripheral element in the desired position. Also, a machine can include the arrangement.
Bidirectional sheet metal cutting tool
The bidirectional sheet metal cutting tool (100) is a cutting tool that performs cuts on webbed material in which a length of cut exceeds a physical dimension of the cutting tool (100), while limiting flexing of the webbed material during a cutting operation. The cutter assembly (140) is configured to ride on a guide track (145), and has upper and lower sections. The upper and lower sections have an offset attachment to each other at an interface, so that the webbed material passes the offset after cutting in an extended bypass cutting operation. An interface between the upper and lower sections has a curved profile, allowing deflection of the webbed material on at least one side of a cutting direction. The cutting tool (100) can be mounted to a sheet metal forming tool as a slitter (500), permitting sequential operations of the metal forming tool.
DEVICE FOR CUTTING PAPER AND OTHER GRAPHIC SUBSTRATES WOUND IN ROLLS
The invention relates to an automatic cutting device for printed graphic substrates. The device has a working plane configured to allow passage of a printed graphic substrate along a longitudinal direction (L) and a transverse cutting unit arranged at a slit of the working plane extending in a transverse direction (T) perpendicular to the longitudinal direction (L). The transverse cutting unit is movable along the slit in the transverse direction (T), and has a pair of uprights on which two pairs of counter-rotating blades are respectively mounted, the uprights being spaced apart in the longitudinal direction (L).
CUTTING DEVICE AND PRINTING APPARATUS
A cutting device includes a circular driving blade that rotates and drives, a circular driven blade that is driven to rotate accompanying rotation of the driving blade, and a holding portion that rotatably holds the driving blade and the driven blade in a state of cutting edges thereof being aligned with each other, wherein a tapered surface that becomes tapered from a second cutting edge side toward a second revolving shaft side of the driven blade is formed on the second contact surface on the side that contacts the driving blade in the driven blade.
