Tool for cutting panels, in particular made of reconstituted material
A tool for cutting a panel made of reconstituted material comprises a fixed support on which a blade is mounted so as to be able to pivot. A slot is provided which is designed to receive at least part of the blade during cutting. A movable support is mounted so as to be able to move about the rotation pin (21), between an engagement position in which the movable support is arranged along the longitudinal edges of the slot of the fixed support, and a retracted position in which the movable support is arranged spaced apart from the longitudinal edges of the slot of the fixed support. The movable support comprises a slot of width smaller than the width of the slot of the fixed support and greater than the width (Lt) of the blade.

MEDIA CUTTER ASSEMBLY AND PRINTER
A cutter assembly for a printer comprises: an active cutter module to be arranged at a printer carriage, the active cutter module including a movable cutting blade and a transmission, a passive cutter module to be arranged opposite the active cutter module, with a print media path located between the active cutter module and the passive cutter module; and a drive component to be engaged and disengaged with the transmission.
Method and apparatus for installing geothermal heat exchanger
A borehole is bored to a borehole target depth in a site and a geothermal heat exchanger is inserted into and then secured in the borehole at the desired depth. Once the heat exchanger has been secured in the borehole, the heat exchanger has a closed distal end and an open proximal end and has at least one fluid path between the closed distal end and the open proximal end, with installation fluid disposed in the fluid path(s). After securing the heat exchanger in the borehole and before excavation of a portion of the site immediately surrounding the borehole, the heat exchanger is temporarily sealed by installing, through the open proximal end, at least one respective internal seal in each fluid path. For each fluid path, the internal seal(s) will be disposed below a respective notional subgrade depth and excavation of the site immediately surrounding the borehole can proceed.
FOOD SLICER
A food slicer has a base with a plurality of spaced apart primary food support members extending upwardly therefrom and a complementary food support removably connected to the base. The complementary food support has a plurality of spaced apart complementary food support members and the primary and complementary food support members define a plurality of substantially equal width cutting spaces therebetween. A cutter has a plurality of spaced apart cutter blades configured to pass through the cutting spaces and a food product supported on the primary and complementary food support members.

SYRINGE CUTTER
Device for cutting a syringe having a barrel with a flange at a proximal end thereof, the barrel containing a liquid, a plunger provided in the barrel and sealing the liquid specimen therein, said cutting device comprising: a jig for supporting a syringe, the jig including a proximal wall and a distal wall, a first through-hole defined in the proximal wall and a second through-hole defined in the distal wall; wherein the first and second through-holes are coaxially aligned and are sized to closely approximate the barrel; the first through-hole including a counter bore such that a distal end of the first through-hole closely approximates the barrel and a proximal end of the first through-hole closely approximates the syringe flange; a blade pivotably supported between the proximal and distal walls; wherein the blade cuts the proximal end of the syringe with the flanges without contaminating the liquid within the barrel.

Power tool
A power tool (1), such as a multi-tool, includes: a motor (21) extending in a front-rear direction; a motor housing (2) that houses the motor (21); a head housing (7) held forward of the motor housing (2); and an output shaft (60) protruding downward from the head housing (7). The head housing (7) may be made of a resin. In addition or in the alternative, the head housing (7) includes a lower-head housing case (4) screw fastened to an upper-head housing cover (5). In addition or in the alternative, the motor housing has a two-halved structure in which two half housings (2a, 2b) are screw fastened together.
