Device for treating substrates
The present invention relates to a device for treating substrates which device is modular and versatile in use. The device for treating substrates comprises a feeder and one or more first sub-structure modules which each comprise a pressure cylinder with devices for fixing a lift and a sheet-conveying device and one or more second sub-structure modules which respectively have a transport cylinder with openings formed on the cover surface thereof, and having devices for fixing a lift and a sheet conveying device. All of the first or second sub-structure modules have the same intersection point for connecting the sub-structure modules on one of the inlet and the exit side and they all can be equipped with an attachment module.
APPARATUS FOR MAKING CONFECTIONERY PRODUCTS
A description is given of apparatus for making confectionery products (1), in particular chewing gum, comprising a cutting station comprising at least two cutting units (10, 20) arranged in succession along the production line and each comprising at least one respective pair of opposing rollers (11a, 11c) and (21a, 21c) provided with knives (30), (40) oriented obliquely with respect to the flow of feeding of a sheet of confectionery material, preferably a rubbery material, in such a way that the opposing rollers of each pair are mirrored one to the other, and with respect to the corresponding rollers of the other pair.
CUTTING APPARATUS AND CUTTING METHOD FOR EDIBLE PRODUCTS
A cutting apparatus according to the present disclosure includes a cutting roller including a cutting body having a cylindrical shape and configured to rotate about an axis defined in a leftward/rightward direction, and cutting blades protruding outward in a radial direction of the cutting body further than a surface of the cutting body to cut an edible food product provided in a forward/rearward direction, and a cutting base part disposed at a position facing the cutting roller based on the edible food product to support the edible food product to be cut by the cutting roller.
Systems and methods for cutting label material
The present invention is an apparatus and method for cutting individual label strips from a roll of label web utilizing a cutter assembly. A label cutter comprises a cutter assembly for continuously and independently controlling the rotational speeds of a rotating cutter shaft, a stationary shaft, and a label feed roller is provided. The length of the label strip is controlled by the distinct speed of rotation of a stationary knife, the stationary knife is rotatably coupled to the stationary shaft. At least one cutter blade is operatively associated to the rotating cutter shaft for cutting the label web. The stationary knife rotates with a to speed of rotation different from the speed of rotation of the cutter blade to produce longer or shorter label length strips. The frequency at which the cutter blade meets the stationary knife is inversely related to the length of the label strip that is produced during cut off.
LABELING MACHINE
A labeling machine includes a conveyor of containers to be labeled along an advancement path and at least one labeling station. The labeling station includes an unreeling assembly for a label ribbon, and a cutting drum. At least one cutting device is provided and has a respective suction chamber, which accommodates internally a blade. The suction chamber is connectable with an air suction device, in order to attract the label ribbon toward the inside of the suction chamber and against the blade, in order to cut the label ribbon. The cutting device includes a respective blade supporting element which is coupled to the cutting drum and supports the blade. This blade supporting element is elastically deformable in order to allow the coupling/uncoupling of the blade to/from the blade supporting element.
Knife having beam elements
A knife including a cutting edge, a fixed edge, and a plurality of beam elements connecting the cutting edge to the fixed edge, each of the beam elements having a beam element extent oriented between about 20 degrees and about 80 degrees off of the cutting edge, each beam element separated from adjacent beam elements by a reduced stiffness zone, each reduced stiffness zone having a reduced stiffness zone extent oriented from about 20 degrees to about 80 degrees off of the cutting edge. The knife can be employed in a process and an apparatus for cutting a web.
VARIABLE CUTOFF IN A CUTTER FOLDER
A folder for a printing press includes a cutting cylinder assembly having at least two knife and anvil cylinder sets positioned near the cutting region of a folder. The cutting cylinder assembly slides or actuates one of the knife and anvil cylinder sets into a cutting position for a desired cut length. The web passes between the knife and anvil cylinder set and is cut. When the cut length needs to be changed, the assembly is relocated to such a position that a second or further set of knife and anvil cylinders is aligned with the web.
ROLL FOR ROTARY CUTTER AND ROTARY CUTTER
A cutter roll and an anvil roll, with which it is possible to control deformation in the axial direction, and a rotary cutter having the same. A roll 101, 210 for a rotary cutter includes: a barrel portion having a circumferential surface and a pair of end surfaces located respectively at opposite ends of the circumferential surface; a pair of first depressions 113, 213 having a ring shape or a cylindrical shape and located respectively at the pair of end surfaces of the barrel portion, the pair of first depressions each having a depth direction that is parallel to an axis of the barrel portion; a pair of first bearings 152, 252 located respectively in the pair of first depressions and being in contact with outer walls of the first depressions; and a pair of first bearing boxes 156 located on an outside of the pair of first depressions and having support portions 151b, 251b to be in contact with a support frame or a pressure mechanism, the pair of first bearing boxes supporting the respective bearings.
Device and method for producing fibre boards
A device for manufacturing fibrous board has a board carrier and a plurality of at least four cutting tools for separating a fibrous material, in particular strand-shaped or tape-shaped fibrous material into portions, and for depositing the portions. The board carrier is displaceable below the depositing cutting tools here through in at least one movement direction. The depositing cutting tools are substantially stationary and are disposed beside one another in such a manner that the portions of these depositing cutting tools may be simultaneously deposited beside one another on the board carrier.
