A mixer has a mixing area for preparing gypsum slurry, a slurry delivery section for delivering the slurry from the mixing area, and a feeding port for feeding foam to the slurry in the mixing area and/or the slurry delivery section under pressure. The slurry having the foam mixed therein is supplied to a production line for forming gypsum boards or gypsum-based boards. The feeding port is provided with a partition member dividing an ejecting region. The ejecting region is divided into a plurality of openings, which simultaneously eject the foam to the slurry.

A portable concrete mixer includes a frame, a hopper, coupled to the frame, for receiving therein dry commercially available prepackaged concrete mixes containing gravel aggregates, a chute coupled to the hopper, a water supply system that supplies water to the chute, a motor, and an auger coupled to and rotated by the motor. The auger includes a shaftless helical auger body extending from the hopper into the chute via an aperture in the hopper. The shaftless helical auger body has an interior volume and a plurality of fingers extending from the auger body into the interior volume. The shaftless helical auger body has an uneven pitch such that a second portion of the helical auger body in the chute has a greater pitch than a first portion of the helical auger body in the hopper.

A mixing and stirring device for gypsum slurry has a circular casing forming a mixing area, a rotary disc positioned in the casing, and a tubular passage for feeding the slurry onto the sheet of paper for the gypsum board liner. A chute has a fluid passage portion with its cross section being non-axisymmetric with respect to a center axis of the tubular passage, or a fluid passage portion varying a position of the center axis of the tubular passage by a change or lateralization of the cross section of fluid passage.
Mortar Delivery System
A Mortar Delivery System is described. The Mortar Delivery System provides precise control of the delivery and application of mortar in addition to the mixing and tempering of mortar. Such control eliminates the use of a hand trowel in brick, block and stone laying applications. Sensing and control are integrated with the Mortar Delivery System to make it an important element of a robotic brick laying system. The Mortar Delivery System contains sensors to measure mortar viscosity and workability, mortar flow rate, and mortar nozzle pressure. The data from the Mortar Delivery System sensors can be used to change the rotational speed of the shear blades, change the amount of water being used for mixing or tempering, and change the delivery speed of the mortar. Such changes result in precise control of mortar that is in turn suitable for automated or semi-automated building processes.

A method for 3D printing a construction using a printing unit includes obtaining a precursor printing material, the precursor printing material including a binder, water, and sand; forming a flow of the precursor printing material towards the printing unit using a material pump; adding downstream of the material pump an amount of a first additive to the precursor printing material; optionally adding one or more additional additives; mixing the precursor printing material, the first additive and the optional one or more additional additives to form the printing material; and extruding the printing material via the printing head.

[Solution] A mixer (10) has a mixing area (10a) for preparing gypsum slurry (3), a slurry delivery section (4) for delivering the slurry from the mixing area, and a feeding port (60) for feeding foam (M) or a foaming agent to the slurry in the mixing area and/or the slurry delivery section under pressure. The slurry having the foam mixed therein is supplied to a production line (1) for forming gypsum boards or gypsum-based boards. The feeding port is provided with a partition member (62,64,65) dividing an ejecting region (61,61). The ejecting region is divided into a plurality of openings (63), which simultaneously eject the foam or forming agent to the slurry.
