Mixer drum driving device with an auxiliary hydraulic pump to rotate a mixer drum
A mixer drum driving device includes a mixer drum, a hydraulic motor, a hydraulic pump, an auxiliary hydraulic pump for rotating the mixer drum for mixing by supplying pressure oil to the hydraulic motor independently of the hydraulic pump, and a direct-current brush motor for driving and rotating the auxiliary hydraulic pump. The auxiliary hydraulic pump is driven and rotated by the direct-current brush motor when the engine stops during the rotation of the mixer drum for mixing.
Concrete mixer vehicle
A concrete mixer vehicle includes a chassis, a cab coupled to the chassis, a drum assembly coupled to the chassis, and a module coupled to the chassis and positioned rearward of the drum assembly. The module includes a prime mover, a cooling system, and a hood. The hood has a first end positioned proximate the drum assembly, an opposing second end positioned proximate a rear end of the chassis, and a top surface. The hood defines an internal cavity within which the prime mover and the cooling system are disposed. The first end defines an inlet airflow cavity. The inlet airflow cavity has a bottom surface and an air inlet positioned between the top surface and the bottom surface. The air inlet connects the inlet airflow cavity to the internal cavity.
CONCRETE MIXER VEHICLE
A concrete mixer vehicle includes a chassis, a cab coupled to the chassis, a front bumper coupled to a front end of the chassis, a drum assembly coupled to the chassis, and a module coupled to the chassis and positioned rearward of the drum assembly. The drum assembly includes a mixing drum defining an aperture and an internal volume, a charge hopper positioned proximate the aperture and above the cab, a chute positioned proximate the aperture, beneath the charge hopper, and a drum driver configured to drive the mixing drum. The module includes a prime mover and a hood within which the prime mover is disposed.
Mixer drum drive with additional pump
A vehicle includes an engine, an electric energy system, a drum configured to mix drum contents received therein, and a drum drive system coupled to the drum and the engine. The drum drive system includes a primary pump, an electric motor powered by the electric energy system, an auxiliary pump fluidly coupled to the mechanical pump and powered by the electric motor, and a drum motor fluidly coupled to the primary pump and the auxiliary pump and positioned to drive the drum to agitate the drum contents.
Powered vehicle combining dust collection, overlay mixing and spreading
A concrete/cement resurfacing machine integrates a dust collection subsystem and an overlay mixing/distribution subsystem, enabling a single operator to steer the machine to a desired floor location and deposit mixed, cementitious overlay material. The combination of dust collection and overlay mixing saves considerable time and achieves improved results, eliminating the need for separate vacuum machines while reducing the risk that dust will be released as bags of dry ingredients are added to the mixing tank. A single propane engine powers a hydraulic pump, with fluid being routed to three separate hydraulic motors with associated control valves to provide for forward/reverse locomotion, bidirectional paddle mixing, and vacuum generation. The dust collection system is preferably a two-stage system including a vacuum collection tank and a HEPA filter.
