Blender
A blender has a mixing chamber for reception of materials to be blended. A mixing screw is mounted at a bottom of the mixing chamber for mixing materials within the mixing chamber and delivering mixed materials to an outlet feeding a processing line. The blender has a plurality of material handling compartments. One or more cleaning air jets are provided in each material handling compartment. The cleaning air jets are operable to direct material towards an outlet of the compartment. Each cleaning air jet is connected to a pressurised air supply through a valve which controls delivery of pressurised air to the cleaning air jet.
Method for manufacturing bone-regeneration material comprising biodegradable fibers by using electrospinning method
A bone-regeneration material that contains calcium phosphate particles in biodegradable fibers of PLGA manufactured by electrospinning. A PLGA resin is heated in a kneader until the resin viscosity becomes 10.sup.2 to 10.sup.7 Pa.Math.s. A powder of calcium phosphate fine particles is added while the blade is rotated. The mixture is kneaded by continuous rotation of the blade in the heated state to disperse the calcium phosphate fine particles to obtain a composite having calcium phosphate fine particles dispersed in the PLGA resin. The composite is dissolved by a solvent, and the PLGA resin is completely dissolved by agitation for a prescribed duration to prepare a spinning solution in which the calcium phosphate fine particles are dispersed. Electrospinning is performed on the spinning solution to manufacture biodegradable fibers having therein the calcium phosphate fine particles substantially uniformly dispersed.

Apparatus for mixing materials dissolved in a high-pressure working fluid
The present invention relates to a mixing apparatus. A production unit produces a working fluid that is in a supercritical state or a subcritical state. A storage unit stores a material. A dissolving unit dissolves the material in the working fluid. A mixer mixes the material together in the presence of the working fluid. A material feed valve opens or closes a flow passage through which the material is to pass to be fed from the storage unit into the dissolving unit. A working fluid inflow valve opens or closes a flow passage through which the working fluid is to pass to flow into the dissolving unit from the production unit. A mixer inflow valve opens or closes a flow passage through which the working fluid and the material are to pass to flow into the mixer from the dissolving unit.
Apparatus for mixing materials dissolved in a high-pressure working fluid
The present invention relates to a mixing apparatus. A production unit produces a working fluid that is in a supercritical state or a subcritical state. A storage unit stores a material. A dissolving unit dissolves the material in the working fluid. A mixer mixes the material together in the presence of the working fluid. A material feed valve opens or closes a flow passage through which the material is to pass to be fed from the storage unit into the dissolving unit. A working fluid inflow valve opens or closes a flow passage through which the working fluid is to pass to flow into the dissolving unit from the production unit. A mixer inflow valve opens or closes a flow passage through which the working fluid and the material are to pass to flow into the mixer from the dissolving unit.
RESIN COMPOSITION, MOLDED PRODUCT AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF
Provided is a resin composition having improved fluidity in a molten state maintained without lowering heat resistance, containing: a polymer being a reaction product of a first organic compound having a phenolic hydroxyl group and a second organic compound having a glycidyl group, Mw of the polymer being no greater than 10,000; and a thermoplastic resin other than the polymer. A proportion of the polymer contained in the resin composition is from 0.1% to 30% by mass. A melting point of the thermoplastic resin is no less than 200 C. The thermoplastic resin has a benzene ring in a molecule. The polymer and the thermoplastic resin have blended to form a homogeneous phase. Also provided are a molded product formed from the aforementioned resin composition, and a production method of a molded product including: kneading the resin composition by chaotic mixing; and molding a kneaded product obtained after the kneading.

Method and reprocessing installation for reprocessing film waste material
In a method for reprocessing film waste material, the film waste material is comminuted into recycling material by means of a comminuting device. The recycling material is fed by means of a feeding device in a multi-shaft screw machine. In the multi-shaft screw machine, the recycling material is plasticized into a material melt and processed into raw material. The raw material may again be fed to a production installation for the production of films.
Method and reprocessing installation for reprocessing film waste material
In a method for reprocessing film waste material, the film waste material is comminuted into recycling material by means of a comminuting device. The recycling material is fed by means of a feeding device in a multi-shaft screw machine. In the multi-shaft screw machine, the recycling material is plasticized into a material melt and processed into raw material. The raw material may again be fed to a production installation for the production of films.
