The long wing includes, between the long wings and an inner surface of a casing, wing tops configured to form, along a wing longitudinal direction, a first tip clearance, and a second tip clearance narrower than the first tip clearance in width. A central angle of the long wing forming the second tip clearance is between 5 degrees and 10 degrees inclusive.
STACKING OF PLIES OF RUBBER COMPOUND
A method for stacking a ply (50) which is transferred from a rubber mixing system to a stacking system (100) comprises the steps of transferring the ply (50) to a stacking head (120) of the stacking system (100); passing the ply (50) to a motorized belt (110) of the stacking system (100), the motorized belt (110) being able to turn in both directions and being able to move in translation, and the motorized belt (110) being situated between the stacking head and a pallet (P) chosen from a pallet (P) with edges and a pallet (Q) without edges; and setting the motorized belt (110) into movement in translation so as to move along a path such that the motorized belt (110) receives the ply (50) from the stacking head (120) and makes a downstream end (50b) of the ply (50) to be stacked accessible in order to connect it to an upstream end (52a) of a ply (52) of a successive pallet and form a butt joint between the plies (50, 52).
TWIN-SCREW MIXER-EXTRUDER, INCLUDING A PRESSER BODY FOR DEFINING A CONTROLLED VOLUME OF A COMPOUNDING CHAMBER
It is described an apparatus for the extrusion and mixing of plastic materials, for example rubber-based and silicone-based materials, comprising a dump extruder body whereon two conical screws (2) converging towards an extrusion die (3) suitable for being occluded by closing means (4) are mounted, the conical screws (2) being accommodated within a low-pressure compounding chamber (1) and within a pair of converging conical channels also defining a high-pressure chamber (2′), said low-pressure chamber (1) corresponding to an upstream area with respect to an extrusion direction, wherein said high-pressure chamber (2′) and/or said low-pressure chamber (1) accommodate a presser body (5, 5′, 6), defining a movable wall suitable for causing a controlled change in the volume of the respective chamber (1, 2′).
Method for producing tire sidewall rubber member
A method for producing a tire sidewall rubber member according to an embodiment comprises: a first kneading step of preparing a first kneaded product by kneading a diene rubber, carbon black, a compound represented by formula (I) (wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group or an alkynyl group, and M.sup.+ is Na.sup.+, K.sup.+ or Li.sup.+), and zinc oxide; and a second kneading step of adding wax and/or stearic acid to the first kneaded product, followed by kneading. Thus, low heat generation properties are improved while suppressing the deterioration of tear resistance. ##STR00001##
ROTOR WITH ANTI-WEAR DEVICE AND MEANS FOR ATTACHING SAME
In the field of mixing rubber mixtures, the invention is directed to a rotor (100) for use in an internal mixer having a mixing vessel in which the rotor rotates, the rotor having one or more blades (104), each blade having a tip (104a) with a profile having a predefined curvature; and an anti-wear device detachably fixed to the tip (104a) of at least one blade, the anti-wear device including a plate (110) with a profile defined by a lower surface (112) with a curvature complementary to that of the tip 104a and an upper surface (114) with a curvature complementary to that of a wall of the vessel to define, between them, a zone of minimum distance that allows passage of the mixture between the plate (110) and the wall of the vessel. The invention is also directed to an internal mixer having at least one mixing vessel in which the disclosed rotor (100) rotates.
FLUORINE RUBBER COMPOSITION AND CROSSLINKED FLUORINE RUBBER PRODUCT
