A method for producing a densified material includes: obtaining a film including at least one first layer of plastic material and one second layer with a composition distinct from the first layer, the first layer having a first melting temperature, or obtaining pieces of such a film; compressing the obtained film or the obtained pieces of film through at least one die of at least one extruder, and obtaining a profile of densified material, the extruder including at least one rotary endless screw pushing the obtained film or pieces of film along a screw axis; and optionally cutting the profile in order to obtain granules of densified material, the compression step being carried out at a maximum compression temperature for the obtained film or pieces of film, the maximum compression temperature being less than the first melting temperature. Also disclosed are installation and use of the densified material.

A process for continuously preparing a polyolefin composition made from or containing a polyolefin and carbon black in an extruder device. The process includes the steps of supplying polyolefin in form of a polyolefin powder and carbon black to a mixing device; alternatively, (a) measuring the flow rate of the polyolefin powder supplied to the mixing device or (b) measuring the flow rate of the polyolefin pellets prepared in the extruder device; adjusting the flow rate of the carbon black to the mixing device in response to the measured flow rate of the polyolefin powder or adjusting the flow rate of the polyolefin powder to the mixing device in response to the measured flow rate of the polyolefin pellets; melting and homogenizing the mixture within the extruder device; and pelletizing the polyolefin composition into the polyolefin pellets.

The method includes passing a resin fed from a hopper for resin through a molding machine provided with the hopper, an extruder, and a pressure control device in this order, to produce a resin molded article, the resin pressure between a tip of the extruder and an inlet port for resin of the pressure control device being 15.0 MPa or lower.

The cross-cut grooves have a second helix angle greater than the first helix angle and less than ninety degrees; and/or one or more of the cross-cut grooves have a third helix angle of about ninety degrees.
