A worm shaft for a mixing and kneading machine particularly for continual processing having a shaft bar, on the circumferential surface of which blade elements are arranged to be spaced apart from one another extending outwards from the circumferential surface of the shaft bar, wherein the blade elements are arranged on the circumferential surface of the shaft bar, at least in one section extending in the axial direction of the worm shaft, in two rows extending in the axial direction of the worm shaft, and wherein each of the blade elements of the at least one section extending in the axial direction of the worm shaft has an elliptic, oval, or biconvex outer peripheral surface in the top view.
KNEADING APPARATUS WITH FIRST AND SECOND EXTRUDERS
A kneading apparatus includes a processor, and a extruder. The extruder includes a screw. The screw includes a screw main body. A conveyance portion, a barrier portion, and a path are provided at places of the screw main body. In at least one of the places, the path is provided inside the screw main body, and includes an entrance and an exit. The raw materials, pressure on which is increased by the barrier portion, flow in from the entrance. The raw materials flowing in from the entrance flow through the path toward the exit. The exit is positioned to be remote from the entrance in an axial direction.
METHOD FOR DRYING POLYOLEFIN-CONTAINING PARTICLES
A method for drying polyolefin-containing particles includes a drying step of supplying polyolefin-containing particles to a drying container, supplying a drying gas to the drying container, and drying the polyolefin-containing particles in the drying container. In the drying step, a numerical value determined by the following formula (a) is 441 or more and 600 or less.
38.0×[η]CXIS [dL/g]−0.500×CXIS content [% by mass]+1.20×particle temperature during drying [K]+3.29×drying time [hr] Formula (a):
Molding method and molding apparatus of molded article comprising fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a molding method capable of molding a molded article having excellent strength and reducing manufacturing costs by shortening a molding cycle when obtaining a molded article from a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin by compression molding. The present invention relates to a molding method which obtains a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin by kneading a thermoplastic resin and a reinforcing fiber (14), and a molded article from the fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin by compression molding. The molding method of the molded article comprising the fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin according to the present invention comprises: a molding step for obtaining a first molded article from a predetermined amount of a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin through a molding die (4); a carrying-in step for opening the molding die (4), taking out the first molded article, and inserting the first molded article into a cooling die (5); and a compression cooling step for cooling the first molded article by compressing the first molded article through the cooling die (5).
Method for producing a polycondensate melt from a first partial melt stream and a second partial melt stream, with increasing or reducing an intrinsic viscosity of the second partial melt
A method for producing a polycondensate melt from a primary material and a secondary material from materials of substantially the same type is provided. A first partial melt stream of the primary material and a second partial melt stream of the secondary material are provided, and a measured value of the intrinsic viscosity of both partial melt streams is determined, and a difference value is calculated from the measured values. Based on the difference value, the intrinsic viscosity of the second partial melt stream is increased, reduced or maintained unchangedly by using a first melt treatment device. Subsequently, the two partial melt streams are combined into a common melt stream.
