A foaming method and apparatus for products comprising a frame (T) on which a first containment jig mould (1) is supported, at least one foaming unit, and a loading trolley (20) provided with a controlled conveyor (21) for transferring said components from an inlet line (Li) inside said containment jig (1), wherein it includes at least a second containment jig (10) arranged above said first containment jig (1) constrained to the same fixed frame (T), a removal trolley (30) arranged on the side opposite said loading trolley (20) with respect to said containment jigs (1, 10), between said containment jigs (1, 10) and an outlet line (Lu), wherein said loading trolley (20) and removal trolley (30) are vertically movable, by means of respective controlled lifts (22, 32), between a lower position and one or more service positions in which they are arranged adjacent to said jigs (1, 10).

Molding device and injection molding method thereof
A molding device and an injection molding method thereof are provided. The molding device includes a first mold, a second mold and a sealing ring. The first mold includes a first body and at least one slide. The at least one slide is movably and detachably disposed on the first body, and has an undercut. The injection molding method includes operations of: engaging the first mold with the second mold of the molding device; filling a mold cavity defined by the first mold and the second mold with a gas, wherein the gas is blocked by the sealing ring disposed between the first mold and the second mold; injecting a molding material into the mold cavity; and opening the first mold and the second mold of the molding device.
FOOTWEAR COMPONENT MANUFACTURING SYSTEM
A system including an injector, a press, and a robotic conveyance is used to form a physically foamed article of footwear component from a single-phase solution of a polymeric composition and a supercritical fluid. A container having an annular sidewall with upper and lower annular peripheral edges and a lattice structure of elongate ribs interconnecting the upper and lower annular peripheral edges, wherein the lattice structure is an open framework defining a plurality of sidewall openings, and a base having an annular peripheral edge which is integral with the lower annular peripheral edge of the sidewall, the annular peripheral edge of the base surrounding a base wall structure which is integral therewith, the base wall structure having at least one injection moulding sprue at a central region of the base wall structure, wherein the at least one injection moulding sprue is connected to the upper annular peripheral edge of the annular sidewall by the base wall structure, the annular peripheral edge of the base, the lower annular peripheral edge of the sidewall and the lattice structure of the sidewall, wherein the sidewall and the base are composed of a thermoplastic polymer and define a central concavity for packaging a product, and wherein the container further has a flexible sheet which is bonded to the lattice structure to cover the sidewall openings and form a sealed sidewall surface of the container.

Footwear component manufacturing methods
Physical foaming a footwear component with a single-phase solution of a polymeric composition and a supercritical fluid is provided. The method include temperature conditioning a mold and then engaging the mold with a robot that conveys the mold to a press. At the press a gas counter pressure is applied to a cavity of the mold before injecting a single-phase solution of a polymeric composition and a supercritical fluid into the cavity of the mold. The process continues with releasing the gas counter pressure from the cavity of the mold and then removing the footwear component from the cavity of the mold. The parameters of the method are configured for the formation of the footwear component in an automated manner.
Expandable foaming molds and applications thereof
Described herein are expandable foaming molds. The foaming molds described herein permit mold boundaries to expand along with the expanding polymer and thereby conform to the foaming dynamics of the polymer material. By modifying the temperature and pressure applied to the mold devices described herein, the properties of the resulting foamed polymer can be fine-tuned for specific applications.
Foaming apparatus for refrigerator cabinets and related foaming method
A foaming apparatus for foaming a refrigerator cabinet includes a frame including a supporting structure, and first and second foaming jigs restrained to the supporting structure opposite to each other relative to the supporting structure. The first and second foaming jigs being respectively arranged in a lower position and in an upper position relative to a vertical direction of the foaming apparatus in an operating condition thereof. Each foaming jig includes a bottom wall, peripheral walls configured to enclose an outer shell of the refrigerator cabinet, a plug configured to engage an inner shell of the refrigerator cabinet, and at least one injection head configured to carry out injection of a foaming mixture into the refrigerator cabinet received therein. The peripheral walls and the plug are restrained to the supporting structure, whereas the bottom wall is removably mounted to the peripheral walls.
