DIE FOR EXTRUSION AND METHOD OF DESIGNING DIE FOR EXTRUSION
There is provided a die for extrusion in which an undesired reaction is suppressed in an inside thereof and with which variation in thickness of a resin sheet to be obtained can be reduced. A die for extrusion of the present invention includes: a cylindrical inflow port into which a molten resin flows; a manifold connected to the inflow port; a first slit connected to the manifold; a second slit connected to the first slit; and a lip land connected to the second slit. In the die for extrusion, the shape of a flow path is optimized based on a relationship among a position in the die, an operation time, and a vulcanization degree.
FOAM FORMING DEVICE AND FOAM EXTRUSION APPARATUS
A foam forming device has an inlet, an outlet and a longitudinal axis that leads from the inlet to the outlet. The foam forming device has a plurality of surface pairs. Each surface pair has two opposing surfaces. The surfaces delimit a foaming space at least to some extent. At least one of the surfaces of the surface pairs is an adjustable surface whose orientation relative to the longitudinal axis can be adjusted. The first surface pair and the second surface pair are off-set from one another along the periphery of the foaming space. Also disclosed is a foam extrusion apparatus having a foam forming device.
Equipment and method of making substrate of plastic flooring
Equipment of making a substrate of plastic flooring contains: an extrusion unit, a thickness regulating unit, and a rolling apparatus. The extrusion unit includes an outlet, and the thickness regulating unit including an inlet, a channel, and a cooler. The rolling apparatus includes a first roller, a second roller, and a press roller. The press roller at least includes a contacting roller and a pressing roller, wherein the contacting roller is configured to roll a foaming sheet, a printing layer, and an abrasion resistant layer. Furthermore, a heating unit heats the foaming sheet, the printing layer, and the abrasion resistant layer so that the foaming sheet, the printing layer, and the abrasion resistant layer are connected by using the pressing roller.
RESIN COMPOSITION, MOLDED ARTICLE AND HEAT-EXPANDABLE MICROSPHERES
A resin composition containing heat-expandable microspheres including a thermoplastic resin shell and a thermally vaporizable blowing agent encapsulated therein and at least one base resin selected from rubbers, olefin resins and thermoplastic elastomers. The thermoplastic resin is a polymer of a polymerizable component containing N-substituted maleimide and a nitrile monomer containing methacrylonitrile. Also disclosed are molded articles manufactured by molding the resin composition.
Method for producing polyethylene-based resin extruded foam sheet, polyethylene-based resin extruded foam sheet, and plate interleaf sheet using the same for glass sheets
Provided is a method for producing a polyethylene-based resin extruded foam sheet by extruding and foaming a foamable molten resin composition formed by kneading a mixture containing a low-density polyethylene, a physical blowing agent, and an antistatic agent, wherein the foam sheet has a thickness in a range of from 0.05 to 0.5 mm, and the antistatic agent is a polymeric antistatic agent having a melting point whose different from the melting point of the low-density polyethylene is in a range of from 10 to +10 C., and having a melt flow rate of 10 g/10 min or more. This method enables a novel polyethylene-based resin extruded foam sheet to be obtained that is of high quality such that formation of a small hole or a through-hole has been reduced or eliminated, and has both excellent strength and a shock-absorbing property despite a very small thickness even in medium- or long-term continuous production, and besides, exhibits a sufficient antistatic property, thus suitable as a glass plate interleaf sheet.
ANISOTROPIC THIN FOAMED POLYETHYLENE SHEET AND APPLICATIONS THEREOF
An anisotropic multilayer film comprising one or more foam layers is described herein.
Resin composite
The resin composite of the present invention has a polyamide-based resin expanded sheet, and a fiber-reinforced resin layer integrally laminated on a surface of the polyamide-based resin expanded sheet.
EXTRUDED BOARD WITH REALISTIC APPEARANCE
In one embodiment, a method of forming an extruded board includes mixing a resin and a foaming agent, melting the mixed resin and foaming agent to form a uniformly colored extrudate, differentially expanding voids formed from the foaming agent within the uniformly colored extrudate by passing the uniformly colored extrudate through a breaker plate, forming a board with the differentially expanded voids and uniformly colored extrudate, and forming lightened portions on an outermost surface of the formed board.
Fiber-reinforcement of blowing-agent containing foam materials
The present invention relates to a process for producing a molding made from blowing agent-containing foam comprising at least one fiber (F), wherein the at least one fiber (F) is partially introduced into the blowing agent-containing foam. The two ends of the respective fiber (F) that are not surrounded by the blowing agent-containing foam thus project from one side of the corresponding molding. The present invention also provides the molding as such. The present invention further provides a panel comprising at least one such molding, produced by the process according to the invention, and at least one further layer (S1). The present invention also provides for the production of the panels of the invention and for the use thereof, for example as a rotor blade in wind turbines.
Foamable resin composition for foam sheet, foam sheet, process for preparing particulate polylactic acid and process for preparing foam sheet
Disclosed herein is a foamable resin composition for a foam sheet including polylactic acid resin particles, each of the particles having a particle size of about 1 m to about 100 m. A process for preparing a particulate polylactic acid resin includes: introducing a polylactic acid resin and then forming a molten polylactic acid spray solution; and injecting the molten polylactic acid spray solution by a melt spray method and simultaneously cooling the molten polylactic acid spray solution to obtain a particulate polylactic acid.
