PROCESS FOR CONTINUOUS SYNTHESIS OF A DIENE ELASTOMER
A process for the continuous synthesis of diene elastomers with a high degree of conversion is provided. The process includes simultaneously:
a) introducing continuously into a polymerisation reactor containing a gas phase and equipped with at least one stirring rotor and a discharge device, at least i. one or more monomers, including at least one conjugated diene monomer, and ii. from 0% to 70% by mass of an organic solvent, calculated relative to the total mass of monomers and of solvent,
b) continuously polymerising the monomer(s),
c) stirring the polymerisation medium via the continuous movement of at least one stirring rotor about a rotary axle,
d) continuously discharging the elastomer paste,
e) continuously conveying the discharged elastomer paste to a chopping device and chopping it into particles,
f) removing solvent from the particles of the elastomer paste, and
g) recovering diene elastomer.
Degassing method, degassing device and use of screw elements
The present invention relates to a process for devolatilising polymer-containing media such as, in particular, polymer melts, polymer solutions and dispersions and also devolatilisation apparatuses for carrying out the abovementioned process.
Method and device for recycling plastics
Techniques recycle plastics in multiple successive process steps. A polymer, preferably a recyclable material, is melted using a discharge extruder, filtered using a first filter device under a positive pressure atmosphere, filtered and degassed using a degassing device, and discharged using a discharge extruder. The degassing device has at least one filter element and a vacuum chamber with a negative pressure atmosphere for filtering and degassing purposes, wherein the plastic melt can be conducted into the negative pressure atmosphere of the vacuum chamber through the filter element.
Method for extruding a polymer in the presence of water
The invention relates to a method for converting a polycondensed elastomeric thermoplastic polymer, including a step of extruding the polycondensed elastomeric thermoplastic polymer in the presence of water. The polycondensed elastomeric thermoplastic polymer is in particular chosen from copolymer block amides, copolyethers or copolyester block urethanes, copolyether block esters and the mixtures thereof, and is preferably a copolyether block amide.
PROCESS FOR THE PROCESSING OF AN UNDRIED, PARTICULATE POLYMER OR POLYMER MIXTURE BY MEANS OF A SINGLE- OR MULTISCREW EXTRUDER
A process for the processing of an undried particulate polymer or polymer mixture by means of a single- or multiscrew extruder comprising a barrel comprising one or more screws, a feed section intended for the polymer and provided on the barrel and, provided on the barrel, a melting region in which the polymer or polymer mixture melts, where the undried polymer or polymer mixture introduced by way of the feed section into the barrel is devolatilized in at least one vacuum devolatilization region downstream of the feed section and upstream of the melting region in the barrel.
Continuous celluloid twin screw extrusion process
The present disclosure relates to a continuous extrusion process for producing a celluloid article including several steps and a celluloid article prepared by the continuous extrusion process.
