METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION AND FILLING OF AN APPLICATION PACKAGE FOR A LIQUID PHARMACEUTICAL PRODUCT
A method for the production and filling of an application package for a liquid pharmaceutical product. A thermoforming film made of thermoplastics laminated together is heated in order to plasticize the thermoforming film at least in partial areas. The plasticized areas are thermoformed in a mold in order to form a chamber for the liquid pharmaceutical product and a tube-shaped application duct opening into this chamber, with the chamber and the application duct being enclosed by a non-thermoformed, essentially flat bonding area of the thermoforming film. The liquid pharmaceutical product is filled into the chamber, and the chamber and the application duct are sealed by covering the thermoformed and filled thermoforming film with an essentially flat covering film. The covering film is directly bonded to the bonding area of the thermoforming film by thermal ring sealing, enclosing the chamber and the application duct.
IMPROVEMENTS RELATING TO WIND TURBINE BLADE MANUFACTURE
Method of bonding a shear web (50) to a wind turbine blade shell (75) and the obtained blade, wherein the shear web (50) comprises a web and a mounting flange (56) oriented transverse to the web (50). The method involves: providing a seal (66, 68) on the mounting flange (56) of the shear web (50) such that when the mounting flange (56) is positioned against the blade shell (75), a cavity (76) is defined by the seal between the mounting flange (56) and the blade shell (75). The air of the cavity (76) is then evacuated and adhesive is injected into the cavity (76). The use of pieces (80) to keep the distance between the mounting flange (56) and the blade shell (75) is preferred.
JIG
A jig includes mold parts that have a contact surface of a cylindrical part of a material to be molded having a shape complying with the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical par and are arranged in a direction crossing one direction; a bladder having on a side opposite to the contact surfaces of plurality of mold parts relative to the mold parts, capable of accommodating a fluid therein, and expandable/retractable according to a pressure of the accommodated fluid; a joining part that joins the plurality of mold parts and the bladder; and a connection part that connects a one-side mold part and an another side mold part adjacent to the one-side mold part among a plurality of mold parts to each other and restricts an interval between the one-side mold part and the other-side mold part in a direction crossing the one direction with a prescribed range.
Method for assembling a box structure and structure obtained by such a method
A method for assembling a skin and a flange of a stiffener. The periphery of the contact between the skin and the flange of the stiffener is sealed by applying a bead of adhesive on the flange of the stiffener in contact with the skin. A first and second orifices are made in the skin. The orifices open at the interface between the skin and the flange of the stiffener. The adhesive is injected through the first orifice at the interface between the skin and the flange of the stiffener while keeping the skin in contact with the stiffener until the interface between the skin and the stiffener is completely filled with the adhesive.
Co-curing process for the joining of composite structures
A method of fabricating a composite assembly may include providing a first laminate and a second laminate respectively formed of first and second composite plies, and having a respective first and second cured section and a respective first and second uncured section. The method may further include interleaving the first composite plies in the first uncured section with the second composite plies in the second uncured section to form an interfacial region. The method may additionally include curing the interfacial region to join the first laminate to the second laminate and form a unitized composite assembly.
Welding assembly and method for producing a welding assembly
A welding assembly having a support part, of a material that is absorbent to a laser radiation, and an attachment part, with at least one collar piece that is transparent to the laser radiation. The support part and the at least one collar piece have a first joining area and a second joining area, which together form a joining region. The surface contours of the joining areas deviate from one another, and so, when the welding assembly is being joined together, the collar pieces are deformed while they come to bear closely against the support part. The attachment part is formed in such a way that it can be taken up by a receiving mandrel and positioned with respect to the support part and pressed against it by means of the receiving mandrel.
METHOD FOR WELDING PARTS MADE OF THERMOPLASTIC MATERIAL
The invention first relates to a method for welding at least two parts comprising a thermoplastic material and having respective surfaces to be welded, comprising: inserting an insert between the surfaces to be welded of the two parts; generating heat via said insert; wherein the insert moves in relation to the parts to be welded in a welding direction. The invention also relates to an installation adapted for implementation of this method.
Electrofusion fittings and methods
An electrofusion fiting (20) comprises a fitting body (24) and an electrofusion collar (26). The fitting body (24) has an exterior surface (30), an interior surface (32), and a terminal portion (44) extending to a rim (34). The collar (26) has: an inner wall (42) having a heating element (60); a segmented outer wall (40) spaced radially apart from the inner wall; and a linking portion (46) linking the outer wall and inner wall. The fitting body terminal portion is between the inner wall and the outer wall. The collar and fitting body have interfitting features (150, 152) axially retaining the collar against extraction from the fitting body while permitting relative rotation of the collar and the fitting body.
Composite filler
A method and apparatus is presented. A layer of composite material is laid up on a forming tool. A bend is formed in the layer on the forming tool to form a bent layer. A laminate stack and the bent layer are assembled to form the composite filler.
Method and device for producing tubular bags
The invention relates to a method for producing tubular bags made from plastic film or from composite film having a plastic layer on the bag content side, having a self-cutting plastic closure attached to the tubular bag, consisting of a spout part having a fastening flange, a cutting body, which is movably guided in the spout part, and a screw cover having means for activating the cutting body. The film material (5) is supplied from a supply roll to a bag manufacturing machine and the plastic closure is sealed onto the film material in a spout region of a tubular bag. According to the invention, the film material (5) is thinned on the inside of the bag in a ring-shaped region, which is intended for cutting by the cutting body, by means of a thermal embossing process. The plastic closure is then positioned and sealed onto the film material such that the cutting organ embedded in the spout part can become effective in the thinned, ring-shaped region upon use thereof.
