METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING CONNECTOR-INTEGRATED RESIN TUBE
A method for manufacturing a connector-integrated resin tube includes: a fitting step in which an end portion of a resin tube material including a straight tube portion is fitted into an end portion of a connector of a tubular shape; a joining step in which the end portion of the resin tube material and the end portion of the connector that have been fitted are joined by laser welding; a heating holding step in which a posture holding die including a bending processing portion for bending processing of the straight tube portion is used to hold the straight tube portion in a heated and bent state at the bending processing portion of the posture holding die; and a cooling step in which the straight tube portion is cooled.
Ultrasonic press using servo motor with delayed motion
An ultrasonic welding system includes an ultrasonic welding stack that is movable to initiated a welding operation. A plurality of sensors measure respective control variables and output control signals corresponding, respectively, to the control variables. A motion control system is coupled to and causes controlled movement of the welding stack, including initiating the welding operation. The motion control system determines, based on the control signals, control inputs such that any motion of the welding stack, subsequent to the initiating, is initially delayed until the control signals satisfy a predetermined condition. In response to the predetermined condition being satisfied, the motion control system causes the welding stack to move in accordance with a weld profile.
Multilayer films and sealed packages made from these films
Multilayer Films have a first skin layer that is prepared from a high density polyethylene and a second skin layer (also referred to as the sealant layer) that is prepared from a linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) having a density of from 0.90 to 0.92 g/cc and a Dilution Index, Yd, of greater than 0°. Seals can be prepared by placing two pieces of this film against each other such that the sealant layers are in contact with each other, then applying heat to at least one high density skin layer such that heat is transmitted/conducted through the multilayer film in a sufficient amount to melt the sealant layer and form a seal. The use of LLDPE having a Dilution Index of greater than 0° has been found to improve the sealing performance of multilayer films in comparison to multilayer films where the sealant layer is a conventional LLDPE having a Dilution Index of less than 0°.
Device and method for making a pouch provided with a wrapping and containing a brewable material
The present invention relates to a device for making a pouch received in a wrapping, comprising a pouch making device which is adapted to produce a pouch containing brewable material in a water-permeable wrapping, and comprising a sealing station with two sealing jaws movable relative to each other for sealing the pouch in a wrapping formed by a wrapping material. This device is characterized in that it comprises a pouch handling device for removing the finished pouch from the pouch making device and a wrapping material handling device for handling the wrapping material during the U-shaped wrapping of the wrapping material, wherein the handling device and the wrapping material handling device are adapted such that the pouch held by the pouch handling device and the wrapping material held by the wrapping material handling device are introduced into the sealing station.
Method for welding parts made of thermoplastic material
A method for welding at least two parts including a thermoplastic material and having respective surfaces to be welded, including: inserting an insert between the surfaces to be welded of the two parts; generating heat via the insert; wherein the insert moves in relation to the parts to be welded in a welding direction. Also, an installation adapted for implementation of this method.
METHODS OF PRODUCING THERMOPLASTIC COMPOSITES USING FABRIC-BASED THERMOPLASTIC PREPREGS
A thermoplastic product includes a fabric-based reinforcing sheet and a polymerized thermoplastic material. The fabric-based reinforcing sheet is wound about a mandrel to form a plurality of layers having a cross-sectional shape that corresponds to the mandrel. The fabric-based reinforcing sheet includes a plurality of fiber bundles, which may have a bidirectional orientation or configuration. A polymerized thermoplastic material is disposed within each layer of the fabric-based reinforcing sheet. The polymerized thermoplastic material bonds each layer of the fabric-based reinforcing sheet to an adjacent layer.
Medical dressing to treat sucking chest wound
A medical dressing including: a flexible base layer including a front surface configured to face a skin of a patient and a back surface opposite the front surface, wherein the flexible base layer includes a first opening; an adhesive layer on the front surface of the base layer; a flexible cover layer entirely covering the opening of the base layer; a flexible intermediate layer sandwiched between the base layer and the cover layer, wherein the base layer, cover layer and intermediate layer joined together along an annular pattern extending entirely around the first and second openings, wherein the annular pattern joints the base layer to the intermediate layer entirely around the first and second openings, and the annular pattern joins the layers around the first and second openings except at slots extending beyond an outer edge of the cover layer and ending before an outer edge of the intermediate layer.
ULTRASONIC WELDING OF DISSIMILAR SHEET MATERIALS
A ultrasonic welding method of joining dissimilar-material workpieces, such as sheet materials, and the joined components formed thereby. The method includes applying ultrasonic energy to a thermoplastic piece to fill a hole of a dissimilar piece to form a weld point that is made up with polymer from the thermoplastic piece. In general, the geometry of the thermoplastic piece is not altered during the process. The dissimilar piece generally has a higher melting temperate and can be metal, thermoset polymers, or other thermoplastic material. The welded pieces can be arranged in a lap, laminate, or double lap configuration. In some embodiments, the hole of the dissimilar sheet material includes undercut features that improve the mechanical interlock between the dissimilar pieces. In some embodiments, the weld point has a mushroom cap to improve mechanical interlock.
SNAP-ACTION NON-SEPARABLE CONNECTION BETWEEN A LID AND CONTAINER, THE LATTER INTENDED PARTICULARLY FOR BEVERAGES
A snap-action non-separable connection between the lid and container, incorporating snap-action profiles formed in the top part of the container around the opening for filling the container, and snap-action profiles formed in the lid, where the said profiles interlock, is characterised in that the snap-action profiles in the top part of the container are formed on the front surface of that part into segments which do not contact one another, where formed on the side surface of each segment is at least one snap protrusion and where in the top part of the lid are slots on the side surface of which formed is at least one snap ledge, and where the number of the slots in the lid is equal to the number of the said segments.
