A horizontal pillow packing apparatus includes a center sealer configured to wrap a packing target object by bringing both end portions of a back surface of a belt-shaped film in a width direction into contact with each other and seal a center seal portion at which the both end portions of the back surface in the width direction are in contact with each other, and an end sealer configured to seal and cut both side portions of the belt-shaped film wrapping the packing target object in the width direction. The center sealer includes at least two pairs of heating rollers configured to nip and heat the center seal portion of the belt-shaped film wrapping the packing target object, and a pair of compression rollers configured to cool and compress, to bond the center seal portion, the center seal portion heated by the at least two pairs of heating rollers.
FLUID HANDLING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING FLUID HANDLING DEVICE
In the present invention, a fluid handling device has: a first substrate made of resin whereon a channel is formed in a first surface; a first film made of resin and joined to the first surface of the first substrate; a second film made of resin a first surface of which is joined to a second surface of the first substrate; and a second substrate made of resin and joined to a second surface of the second film. A recessed part overlapping the channel in a plane view is formed on the surface of the second substrate joined to the second film. The glass transition temperature Tg.sub.1s of the first substrate, the glass transition temperature Tg.sub.1f of the first film, the glass transition temperature Tg.sub.2s of the second substrate, and the glass transition temperature Tg.sub.2f of the second film satisfy Tg.sub.1s, Tg.sub.2s>Tg.sub.1f, Tg.sub.2f.
FIBER-REINFORCED COMPOSITE LAMINATE FOR USE IN ELECTROMAGNETIC WELDING AND METHOD OF ELECTROMAGNETIC WELDING OF MOLDED PARTS OF SAID LAMINATES
A fiber-reinforced composite laminate for use in electromagnetic welding of molded parts of said laminates. The laminate has a plurality of structural layers, each formed of electrically conductive fibers embedded in a thermoplastic matrix. Eddy currents may be induced in the electrically conductive fibers by an electrical conductor that generates an electromagnetic field. The structural layers include a first, a second and, optionally, a third pair of two adjacently positioned structural layers. The first pair has an intermediate layer which allows eddy currents to flow between the two structural layers of the first pair. The second pair has an intermediate layer which prevents eddy currents from flowing between the two structural layers of the second pair. The optional third pair does not have an intermediate layer. The laminate shows efficient heating by an electromagnetic field.
ELASTIC NONWOVEN MATERIAL
An elastic nonwoven material includes a first non-woven fabric including a plurality of rows. Each row has a plurality of adjacent bonds formed therein. The elastic nonwoven material also includes a first elastic strand entrapped between a first pair of adjacent bonds within a first row of the plurality of rows, and a second elastic strand entrapped between a second pair of adjacent bonds within the first row. A third pair of adjacent bonds within the first row is free of elastic material therebetween and is located between the first pair of adjacent bonds and the second pair of adjacent bonds.
AIR CONDITIONER PIPING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME
An air conditioning piping system of the disclosure includes a refrigerant pipe made of a plastic material and configured to provide a fluid flow between components constituting an air conditioning system; at least one connection flange made of the plastic material and configured to provide a connection between the refrigerant pipe and components constituting the air conditioner system; and at least one charging port made of the plastic material and having a charging valve configured to inject a refrigerant into the refrigerant pipe.
BATTERY CELL SEALING APPARATUS
A battery cell sealing apparatus includes: a first sealing block and a second sealing block pressurizing a case, provided with an accommodation space in which an electrode assembly is accommodated, to seal the case; a moving unit connected to at least one of the first sealing block and the second sealing block and moving at least one of the first sealing block and the second sealing block; and a heating unit connected to the first sealing block and the second sealing block and supplying heat energy to the first sealing block and the second sealing block. The first sealing block and the second sealing block may include a plurality of block members, and may pressurize the case with the plurality of block members to form a plurality of sealing portions on the case.
Transducer and manufacturing method thereof
A transducer in which electrical connections between electrode sheets and leading wires can be secured via an approach other than soldering or welding is provided. In a sheet body portion, a dielectric layer and a first electrode sheet are joined by a first main fusion layer formed of a fusion material. A first conductive portion of a first leading wire is fixed to the sheet body portion by a first clamp. The first clamp includes a plurality of first leg portions that penetrates the sheet body portion in a thickness direction, a first coupling portion that couples the proximal ends of the plurality of first leg portions and is disposed across the first conductive portion, and a plurality of first bent-back portions that is formed by bending the respective distal ends of the plurality of first leg portions and is locked with a second surface of the sheet body portion.
Thermoplastic acoustic blocker door
A method for manufacturing a thrust reverser blocker door may comprise thermoforming a sandwich panel comprising a facesheet, a backsheet, and a honeycomb core. The method may further comprising overmolding a mounting structure onto the backsheet. The first thermoplastic material may comprise a continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic composite material. The second thermoplastic material may comprise a discontinuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic composite material.
Bag-sealing apparatus and method
Bag-sealing apparatus is provided for heat-sealing a bag. The apparatus has a heater arrangement operable to apply heat to heat-seal an open end of the bag. A bag detector detects the location of the bag relative to the heater arrangement. The heater arrangement is formed of plural heater portions. The heater arrangement is operable such that only the or each heater portion that overlies the bag as detected by the bag detector is caused to operate to apply heat to the bag.
Heat seal jaws with asymmetric teeth
A pair of mating sealing jaws for forming a seal between opposing heatsealable surfaces includes a first jaw and a complementary second jaw. Each jaw has a sealing surface that includes at least two peaks separated by a valley. Each peak includes a first face and a second face. A phantom line bisecting the valley defines a first angle between the phantom line and the first face and defines a second angle between the phantom line and the second face such that the first angle differs from the second angle.
