Device and method for inductive sealing of a plurality of plies of a laminate
A device for inductive sealing of a plurality of plies of a laminate which comprises a carrier layer made of electrically non-conductive material, a sealing layer made of thermoplastic material and a metal layer disposed between the sealing layer and the carrier layer, includes two compressible sealing jaws, each fitted with an inductor embedded in a block of the sealing jaw. The block of each sealing jaw consists of a metallic material. A concentrator of each sealing jaw is composed of a plurality of partial pieces, wherein each partial piece consists of a material suitable for magnetic field concentration and all the partial pieces are electrically insulated from one another and with respect to the metal block. The inductor is disposed in a groove in the concentrator.
Segmental crimper having individually heated crimper segments and method of using the same
A segmental crimper comprises at least three crimper segments and an actuator. The crimper segments are arranged circumferentially about a crimper axis that defines axial and radial directions. The crimper segments are movable relative to each other in a manner such that the crimper segments collectively define a variable size aperture that is aligned with the crimper axis. Each of the crimper segments comprises a radio frequency heating element. The actuator is operatively connected to the crimper segments in a manner such that movement of the actuator causes all of the crimper segments to simultaneously move relative to each other and alters the size of the aperture.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR THERMALLY JOINING THERMOPLASTIC FIBER COMPOSITE COMPONENTS, AND COVER FOR A PRESSURIZATION DEVICE SUITABLE FOR THIS PURPOSE
A method for thermally joining thermoplastic fiber composite components, including jointly covering thermoplastic fiber composite components to be joined, at least in the region of a joining zone, with a pressurization arrangement, which is flexible, at least in some section or sections, and extensive pressurization of thermoplastic fiber composite components to be joined by the pressurization arrangement, with the result that the fiber composite components are pressed against one another, at least in the joining zone. The fiber composite components are welded in the joining zone during pressurization. The pressurization is maintained by the pressurization arrangement until the joining zone solidifies. A cover is also disclosed, in particular a mold or diaphragm, for a pressurization device for thermally joining thermoplastic fiber composite components, and an apparatus for thermally joining thermoplastic fiber composite components.
Method and apparatus for thermally joining thermoplastic fiber composite components, and cover for a pressurization device suitable for this purpose
An apparatus for thermally joining thermoplastic fiber composite components includes a pressurization arrangement for jointly covering, at least in a region of a joining zone, thermoplastic fiber composite components to be joined and applying pressure to the thermoplastic fiber composite components to press the thermoplastic fiber composite components against one another, at least in the joining zone, the pressurization arrangement being flexible, at least in some section or sections. A welding device is configured for welding the fiber composite components in the joining zone during pressurization. The pressurization arrangement and welding device are configured to weld the thermoplastic fiber composite components in a pressurized state in the joining zone. The pressurization arrangement is configured to maintain pressurization independently of the welding device until the joining zone solidifies. A cover is also disclosed for a pressurization device for thermally joining thermoplastic fiber composite components.
Air cushion inflation machine
An exemplary air cushion inflation machine includes: a first terminal connected to a direct current input; a second terminal; a reference resistor powered by the direct current input; an op-amp; and a transistor. The first terminal of the op-amp is connected to a variable voltage source and the second terminal of the op-amp is connected to the reference resistor. The transistor has a base connected to an output of the op-amp, an emitter connected to the reference resistor, and a collector connected to a first terminal of a sealing band apparatus having first and second terminals. A meltable material placed between the first and second terminals is melted by resistance of current flowing between the first and second terminals. The variable voltage source changes voltage based on a voltage drop measured across the first and second terminals by a voltage measurement device and the constant current.
The block of each sealing law consists of a metallic material.
TOOL FOR HF WELDING, SYSTEM FOR WELDING FILMS, SYSTEM FOR PRODUCING A BAG FOR MEDICAL PURPOSES, METHOD FOR OPERATING A SYSTEM AND BAG
The invention relates to various aspects of HF-welding methods and HF welding equipment and to a bag produced with an HF-welding method. In tools used for HF welding, it is proposed that the tool is supplemented by an electrically conductive layer, which among other advantages enables the quality of a welded connection, in particular of especially thin films, to be significantly improved.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A TOUCH PANEL
A method for manufacturing a touch panel includes: adding decoration printing to a sheet member; pasting an adhesive on the sheet member to which the decoration printing is added; forming a non-adhesion film on a position of the adhesive which is opposed to the wiring connected to a body of the touch panel; cutting in a desired shape the sheet member on which the non-adhesion film is formed; and pasting the cut sheet member on the body.
HEATING DEVICE
A heating device includes: a heat generator configured to generate heat when supplied with electric power; a first insulator and a second insulator respectively layered on a front surface and a back surface of the heat generator and covering the heat generator; a first heat transfer body layered on the first insulator so as to cover the first insulator and a second heat transfer body layered on the second insulator and covering the second insulator; and a circumferential edge structure configured to seal circumferential edges of the first insulator and the second insulator. In the circumferential edge structure, the circumferential edges are sealed by direct or indirect joining of the first heat transfer body and the second heat transfer body.
