Composite material member, gap material, pultrusion device, and pultrusion method

This pultrusion material that is a composite material member comprises: a plurality of fiber sheets that extend along a lengthwise direction; and a gap material that is provided to a gap formed by the plurality of fiber sheets, wherein the gap material has a gap fiber sheet including reinforcement fibers that are oriented in a different fiber direction than the lengthwise direction, and has gap reinforcement fibers that are oriented in the same fiber direction as the lengthwise direction. Additionally, the gap reinforcement fibers are provided evenly distributed in a cross-section of the gap material, said cross-section being perpendicular to the lengthwise direction.

SELF-STIFFENED CASING CONSISTING OF A COMPOSITE MATERIAL WITH AN ORGANIC MATRIX

A fibrous structure includes a main plate and a sub-plate. The main plate, which is formed by a multi-layer textile, includes a plurality of stacked fiber layers. Each fiber layer includes main plate warps and main plate wefts. The sub-plate, which is formed by a multi-layer textile, includes a plurality of stacked fiber layers. Each fiber layer includes sub-plate warps and sub-plate wefts. The main plate and the sub-plate are integrally woven with each other in a state intersecting each other. The main plate wefts and the sub-plate wefts have a smaller volume density at an intersecting portion where the main plate and the sub-plate intersect than a portion separate from the intersecting portion.

COMPOSITE CONSTRUCTION FOR AN INCREASED SERVICE LIFE

A composite construction, such as, in particular, a composite plate having a sandwich-type construction, has two outer layers which are mutually opposed in parallel and a foam material completely filling the space between the outer layers at least in some regions. The outer layers are interconnected by means of spacers, and the spacers are connected to the outer layers via a cured plastics material.

Method for manufacturing a turbomachine composite part

Methods for manufacturing a turbomachine composite part, such as a fan blade, are provided. The composite part has a fibrous structure with a three-dimensional fibrous preform coated with a surface fibrous web, and which is embedded in a polymer matrix The methods include: forming the surface web in a cavity of a mold in order to shape it, wetting and forming the preform on the surface web in order to shape it, and closing the mold, drying the fibrous structure, and injecting thermosetting resin into the mold in order to form said polymer matrix. The surface web is wetted before and/or during the forming thereof.
