SYSTEMS AND APPROACHES FOR AUTOTUNING AN INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE
Systems and approaches for controlling an injection molding machine and a mold forming a mold cavity and being controlled according to an injection cycle. The systems and methods include analyzing a model of at least one of the injection molding machine, the mold, and a molten material to determine initial values for one or more control parameters of the injection molding machine, and executing a run of injection cycles at the injection molding machine; measuring operation of the injection molding machine during a particular injection cycle of the run of injection cycles; determining one or more operational parameters exceed a threshold; and upon determining that the one or more operational parameters exceed the threshold, adjusting the one or more control parameters for subsequent injection cycles of the run of injection cycles.
Pressure controller for injection molding machine
A pressure controller for an injection molding machine capable of reducing variations of pressure in a mold in molding cycles and providing molded articles of stable quality is provided. The pressure controller includes an in-mold pressure estimation unit for estimating a pressure in the mold based on an injection pressure detected with an injection pressure detection unit, and an amount of movement of a screw detected with a screw movement amount detection unit, and an in-mold pressure control unit for controlling such that the estimated in-mold pressure becomes a set in-mold pressure after the pressure control is performed in a dwell step with an injection pressure control unit.
Method for controlling an injection molding system
A method is provided for controlling an injection molding system, which includes a mold having an inner surface defining at least two groups of cavities, each group of cavities defining precisely one cavity with one pressure sensor at the inner surface. Each group of cavities is at least partially surrounded by a tempering unit that provides an energy flow to the surrounded cavities. According to the method, a pressure is determined in each group of cavities of the at least two groups of cavities. A reference pressure is determined for each group of cavities. A difference between the reference pressure and the pressure in at least one group of cavities is determined and controlled to become minimum by manipulating the energy flow of the tempering unit.
Temperature control method and temperature control device
A temperature control method includes: a step of obtaining, by means of PID control, a first energization rate based on a first temperature difference between an actually measured temperature and a target temperature; a step of obtaining a second energization rate based on a second temperature difference between the ambient temperature of the environment in which a heating barrel is disposed and the target temperature; a step of obtaining a corrected energization rate on the basis of the result of comparison of the first energization rate and the second energization rate; and a step of controlling the electrical power to be supplied to a heater on the basis of the corrected energization rate. The corrected energization rate is set to any of predetermined first, second, and third conditions on the basis of the comparison result.
REMOTE CONTROLLER FOR CONTROLLING APPARATUS BY DIVERTING FEEDBACK SIGNAL FROM NATIVE CONTROLLER TO THE REMOTE CONTROLLER AND METHODS FOR SAME
A remote controller can be provided on any apparatus that employs feedback control from a native controller to add functionality to the apparatus where the native controller is not capable of providing such functionality independently.
Injection molding system with discretely-adjustable variable control
An injection molding machine uses a controller to effectively control its operation. The controller may determine and/or receive information regarding the machine's maximum load capacity, and may also determine a current operational load value of the machine. The controller also may determine a number of set points used to operate the machine. The controller may cause the machine to operate at these set points, thereby resulting in the machine operating at or below the maximum load value by adjusting any number of machine parameters associated with the injection molding machine.
Remote controller for controlling apparatus by diverting feedback signal from native controller to the remote controller and methods for same
A remote controller can be provided on any apparatus that employs feedback control from a native controller to add functionality to the apparatus where the native controller is not capable of providing such functionality independently.
POSITIONING CONTROL DEVICE AND MOLD-CLAMPING APPARATUS
A positioning control device mounted on an industrial machine including a driver including a motor, a movable body movable by the driver, a first detector that detects a position of the movable body based on the amount of driving of the driver, a servo amplifier that performs first feedback control of feedback-controlling driving of the motor based on a first detection value by the first detector, and a second detector that detects a position of the movable body when the movable body comes closer to a target position within a distance or shorter. The positioning control device is configured to position the movable body at the target position and includes a controller that controls the servo amplifier. The controller includes a switching unit that switches control modes between a first control mode performing the first feedback control and a second control mode disabling the first feedback control of the servo amplifier and performing second feedback control of feedback-controlling driving of the motor based on a second detection value by the second detector.
