MOLDING METHOD FOR TIRE PRODUCTION
A tire is molded in a mold having elements movable to bring the mold into an open or into a closed position. The mold includes first and second sidewall mold plates and tread mold segments capable of forming a mold cavity. The segments are radially. The process comprises: bringing the mold from an open position into a first intermediate position wherein the segments remain separated radially from the tire by a radial clearance; creating an axial clearance between the tire and the first or second sidewall mold plate so as to bring the mold into a second intermediate position; drawing a vacuum on the mold cavity while the mold is in the second position; bringing the mold from the second position into the first position by axially moving the first or second sidewall mold plate; and moving the segments radially inwardly and bringing the mold into the closed position.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING MOLD FOR RUBBER ARTICLE
A fixing hole of a mold for rubber article is easily inspected and the vent piece is securely fixed in the fixing hole. A vent piece having a vent hole is fixed in a fixing hole of a mold, so as to manufacture the mold having the vent hole. The vent piece has a first inspection part to be inserted into the fixing hole, a caulking part thicker than the first inspection part and is to be fixed in the fixing hole by caulking, and a second inspection part positioned between the first inspection part and the caulking part and is thicker than the first inspection part and thinner than the caulking part. When the first inspection part is inserted into the fixing hole but the second inspection part is not inserted into the fixing hole, the caulking part is fixed in the fixing hole by caulking.
Methods and systems for rubber removal from vulcanization molds
Methods, apparatuses and systems can be provided to remove vulcanized rubber contamination and other process related residues, such as sulfur-based residues from a vulcanization mold. A vulcanization mold can be placed in a reactor where solid vulcanized rubber contamination can be turned into its base substances on a particle level by reversing the vulcanization and breaking the sulfur-bonds of the contamination. The reactor can be filled with a process liquid that interacts with the devulcanized particles. Energy can be applied to the process liquid to set it into motion to transport devulcanized particles away from the mold surface and from mold cavities such as air venting systems, of which can include then a combination of devulcanization and then a nucleation process to remove the contaminants from the mold.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING MOLD FOR RUBBER ARTICLE, AND MOLD FOR RUBBER ARTICLE
A slit vent is formed in a molding member of a mold for rubber article with ease. A molding member of a mold is brought into contact with a rubber article through a molding surface to mold the rubber article. The molding member having a thin-walled part is formed by making a part in which a slit vent of the molding member is to be formed, thinner than other part of the molding member. The slit vent is formed in the thin-walled part of the molding member. The slit vent penetrates the thin-walled part and opens to the molding surface.
Tire vulcanizing mold
Provided is a tire vulcanizing mold which includes: a molding surface 18 for forming a tire surface; a recessed groove 22a indented from the molding surface 18; a plug mounting hole 20 disposed in a portion of the mold where the recessed groove 22a is formed and allowing the inside of the mold and the outside of the mold communicate with each other; and a vent plug 30 fitted in the plug mounting hole 20, wherein the vent plug 30 includes a housing 40 having a cylindrical shape and having a ventilation hole extending from the inside of the recessed groove 22a to the outside of the mold on an inner diameter side, and a stem 50 which is inserted into the inner diameter side of the housing 40 and opens/closes the ventilation hole, wherein a mold interior end surface 42 of the housing 40 is disposed more to a mold exterior than the molding surface 18.
MOLD FOR RUBBER ARTICLE
A tire mold capable of improving the efficiency in mold production and tire production without compromising the aesthetic quality and performance of a tire after cure-molding. To that end, the tire mold has a hole that penetrates from the molding surface for molding a rubber article to the back surface, a core member that is disposed inside the hole and forms an air discharge flow channel annular in cross section extending along the extension direction of the hole between itself and the hole wall forming the hole, and an interlinking part for interlinking the hole wall and the core member.
Methods and apparatus to perform a liquid-jet guided laser process and to simplify the maintenance thereof
A removably attached coupling assembly can he used to he attached to a laser focus optic assembly of a liquid jet guided laser system. The coupling assembly can include a coupling body, a window assembly, and a nozzle assembly. The coupling assembly thus can allow the independent and separate servicing of the window and the nozzle. For example, to service the window, the coupling assembly can be first detached from the laser focus optic assembly, exposing the top portion of the coupling assembly. The window assembly then can be detached from the coupling assembly. The window can be removed from the window assembly for servicing, such as being repaired or replaced.
TIRE VULCANIZATION MOLD AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THEREOF
A tire vulcanization mold has a mold main body, and blades having, at proximal end sides thereof, embedded portions that are fixed to the mold main body in embedded states, and, at distal end sides thereof, projecting portions that project-out from the mold main body's inner surface, wherein at least one introducing path extends from a projecting portion side surface toward a blade inner portion is formed at each blade, and, a connecting path, shaped as a closed space and connects the introducing path and a proximal end opening, is formed at each blade's interior, a discharge path, whose one end opening communicates with proximal end opening and whose other end opening communicates with external space, is formed in the mold main body, and, a maximum flow path sectional area at the connecting path less than or equal to an opening surface area of discharge path's one end opening.
Matrix Element For Tire Mould And Associated Manufacturing Method
The liming element for a tire mould comprises a body 12 delimiting a moulding surface 14 intended to at least partially mould a rolling surface of the tire, at least one injection nozzle 26 arranged on the body and provided with at least one outlet orifice 26a, at least one supply duct extending inside the body and the injection nozzle while being in communication with the said outlet orifice, and at least one shut-off member 30 mobile with respect to the injection nozzle between an outlet orifice closed position and an outlet orifice open position. The body 12, the injection nozzle 26 and the shut-off member 30 are manufactured by the deposition and selective melting of stacked layers of powder.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING MOLD FOR RUBBER ARTICLE, AND MOLD FOR RUBBER ARTICLE
A slit forming part can be easily formed on a parting surface of a split mold and a change in a slit vent formed by the slit forming part can be suppressed. Parting surfaces including slit forming parts are formed on the split mold. Plating is applied to the parting surfaces of the split mold so as to coat the parting surfaces in which the slit forming part is formed, with a plating film. A plurality of split molds are combined together such that their parting surfaces opposed to each other, to mold a rubber article. The slit forming parts of the parting surfaces form a slit vent between the split molds.
