Heating device, comprising two preceding arcuate hot plates, of a two-sided machine
A heating device of a two-sided machine has a stand which has a first arcuate hot plate and a wall on which a sleeve is provided. A second arcuate hot plate is arranged above the first arcuate hot plate. The second arcuate hot plate is connected to the sleeve by a connecting stem. The stand includes a cylinder unit, the piston rod of which is connected to the trailing end of the second arcuate hot plate. A second corrugated-cardboard ply and a first corrugated-cardboard ply are guided so as to run between the hot plates, whereas a third corrugated-cardboard ply is guided so as to run, above the second arcuate hot plate, through the second arcuate hot plate. The second arcuate hot plate is lowered by the cylinder unit in order to be placed in connection with the second corrugated-cardboard ply.
CORRUGATED CARDBOARD PLANT
A corrugated cardboard plant has a corrugated cardboard production assembly having at least one device for producing at least one corrugated cardboard web laminated on one side, and a connecting device for generating a corrugated cardboard web laminated on both sides and includes the at least one corrugated cardboard web laminated on one side. The corrugated cardboard plant has a printed web/lamination web production assembly having a printing device for printing a printed web, a printed web storage device, and a lamination web unwinding device for unwinding a lamination web. The corrugated cardboard plant has a coupling/uncoupling assembly having a coupling device for coupling the printing device to the corrugated cardboard production assembly while using the printed web as the lamination web, and/or an uncoupling device for uncoupling the printing device from the corrugated cardboard production assembly while using the lamination web.
Method for producing corrugated board products having an oblique flute profile
The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for the production of a corrugated cardboard product. The apparatus comprises a first single facer and a second single facer which are provided in each case with a press-down belt and with a first and a second grooving roller respectively. The first and the second grooving roller are designed for embossing a wave profile onto a first and a second paper web respectively. The press-down belts, together with the respective grooving rollers, for connecting the first and the second paper webs in each case to a non-corrugated web for the production of a first and a second single-flute corrugated cardboard web respectively. The first single facer is equipped with a first oblique guide roller, the axis of rotation of which is inclined at a vertical inclination angle between side margins of the first paper web.
HEAT-REFLECTIVE BLANK AND CONTAINER AND METHOD OF FORMING A HEAT-REFLECTIVE BLANK AND CONTAINER
A method for forming a heat-reflective blank includes laminating at least one thermal film sheet at a predetermined position on a first linerboard sheet such that a laminated sheet is formed, and feeding the laminated sheet into a corrugating machine. The method further includes coupling the laminated sheet to a corrugated medium sheet and a second linerboard sheet such that a corrugated sheet is formed. The corrugated medium sheet is between the first linerboard sheet and the second linerboard sheet and the thermal film sheet is positioned on an outer surface of the corrugated sheet.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A MULTI-LAYERED BOARD HAVING A MEDIUM WITH IMPROVED STRUCTURE
A system and method for producing a board product made from paper products that have embossed medium that features an improved structural profile. The improved structural profile may include a triangular flute pattern wherein each flute may exhibit a first linear leg support and a second linear leg support that each support a center apex structure. The apex may have a substantially flat portion that is configured to engage a facing. As such, the board product may further include one or more facings that are adhesively coupled to the embossed medium. Further, the apex of each triangle may also have a groove or channel for receiving an adhesive in a continuous and uniform manner.
