System and method for producing a multi-layered board having a medium with improved structure
A system and method for producing a board product made from paper products that have embossed medium that features an improved structural profile. The improved structural profile may include a triangular flute pattern wherein each flute may exhibit a first linear leg support and a second linear leg support that each support a center apex structure. The apex may have a substantially flat portion that is configured to engage a facing. As such, the board product may further include one or more facings that are adhesively coupled to the embossed medium. Further, the apex of each “triangle” may also have a groove or channel for receiving an adhesive in a continuous and uniform manner.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR FORMING CORRUGATED BOARDS WITH ULTRASOUND
Systems and methods for forming corrugated boards are disclosed. The system includes a single face unit configured to form a single face board having a fluted layer and an outer liner. The system also includes a single face buffer configured to store or hold a length of the single face board. The system has a glue station configured to attach a second outer liner to the single face board to form a single wall board. The system also has an ultrasonic unit configured to apply ultrasonic vibrations to the single wall board. The ultrasonic vibrations are configured to remove moisture from the single wall board, activate, heat, and/or dry an adhesive used to attach the fluted layer and the outer liners, and/or cause the fibers of the fluted layer and the outer liners to weave, intertwine, or otherwise stick together.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR FORMING DUAL FLUTED CORRUGATED BOARD
A method for making a dual fluted corrugated board includes providing a first single face corrugated board having a liner layer and a fluted layer attached to the liner layer and providing a second single face corrugated board having a liner layer and a fluted layer attached to the liner layer. The method also includes arranging the first single face corrugated board and the second single face corrugated board such that the fluted layers thereof face one another and attaching the first single face corrugated board to the second single face corrugated board.
CONFORMABLE, RECYCLABLE SHIPPING CONTAINER, MACHINE AND METHOD
The present disclosure is directed to a shipping container with a corrugated medium that lines an interior pocket of the shipping container as well devices and components (e.g., corrugating rollers, corrugating machines, scoring rollers, and scoring machines) that are utilized to manufacture the shipping containers. The corrugated medium has flutes that cushion, support, and protect a product that is shipped within the shipping container. The corrugated medium may include a first portion with first flutes and a second portion with second flutes that are offset relative to the first flutes. The offset first flutes and second flutes results in peaks of the first flutes nesting within valleys of the second flutes, and peaks of the second flutes nesting within valleys of the first flutes.
Corrugated cardboard plant
A corrugated cardboard plant comprises at least one device for producing a respective corrugated cardboard web laminated on one side; a lamination web dispensing device; a lamination web printing device disposed downstream of the lamination web dispensing device; and a device, disposed downstream of the lamination web printing assembly, for producing a corrugated cardboard web laminated on two sides from the at least one corrugated cardboard web laminated on one side and from a lamination web. The at least one device for producing a respective corrugated cardboard web laminated on one side is configured and/or disposed in such a manner that the at least one corrugated cardboard web laminated on one side, at least in a manner adjacent upstream of the device for producing a corrugated cardboard web laminated on both sides, has a respective upwardly directed corrugation. The lamination web in the device for producing a corrugated cardboard web laminated on two sides is guided in such a manner that said lamination web therein runs above the at least one corrugated cardboard web laminated on one side.
Embossing system
An embossing system including: an embossing unit with at least one embossing roller arranged to emboss a web of paper intended to be joined with a further web by gluing; and a gluing unit associated with the embossing unit, with a tank containing the glue used to perform the gluing and a glue dispensing device including a cliche roller adapted to distribute by contact the glue contained in the tank on one of the webs while the embossing is performed, the cliche roller rotating with a pre-fixed angular velocity around an axis parallel to said at least one embossing roller. The system further includes: a sensor to produce electrical signals having amplitude and/or frequency related to the vibrations at which the cliche roll is instantaneously subject.
WATERPROOF CORRUGATED PAPER, MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF, MANUFACTURING APPARATUS THEREOF, AND USAGE THEREOF
A waterproof corrugated paper includes at least one stone paper medium and at least one stone liner paper, wherein the at least one stone paper medium includes a first fluting surface. A stone glue is utilized to adhere the at least one stone liner paper and several wave crests of the first fluting surface. The stone glue includes a linear polyolefin plastic material and an inorganic material. The linear polyolefin plastic material is 30 wt %-70 wt % based on the stone glue, and the inorganic material is 30 wt %-70 wt % based on the stone glue. The waterproof corrugated paper provided by the present invention is waterproof and frost-resistant, which is adapted to package cooled or frozen food. A manufacturing method, a manufacturing apparatus, and a usage of the waterproof corrugated paper are also provided in the present invention.
System for producing corrugated cardboard
A plant for producing corrugated cardboard. The plant includes an arrangement for producing a corrugated cardboard web laminated on one side, the arrangement having a corrugating apparatus for generating a corrugated web, which has a corrugation, from a first material web, having a glue-applying apparatus for applying glue to tips of the corrugation of the corrugated web, and having a pressing apparatus for pressing a top web onto the tips, provided with glue, of the corrugated web. The plant furthermore has a severing apparatus which is arranged upstream of the corrugating apparatus and which serves for at least regionally severing the first material web in the transverse direction thereof.
SINGLE FACER WITH HEATING PLATES FOR PRODUCING CORRUGATED BOARD
The single facer includes a first feed path for feeding a first paper web towards a corrugating nip defined between a first corrugating roller and a second corrugating roller. The single facer also includes a second feed path for feeding a second paper web towards a pressure nip defined between the first corrugating roller and a pressure member co-acting with the first corrugating roller.
