METHOD FOR OPERATING A SYSTEM HAVING A CORRUGATOR AND A PRINTING MACHINE, AND SYSTEM
The invention relates to a method for operating a system (2) comprising a corrugator (4) and a printing machine (6), wherein the corrugator (4) has a number of processing units (8) for processing one or more paper webs (18), wherein the printing machine (6) prints a paper web and outputs same as a printed paper web (18) to the corrugator (4), wherein the system (2) has a speed controller (34) which specifies a speed of a lead machine for a number of follower machines, such that they follow the lead machine, wherein the printing machine (6) is the lead machine, wherein at least one of the processing 10 units (8) of the corrugator (4) is a follower machine. The invention also relates to a corresponding system (2).
Assembly for producing a corrugated cardboard web laminated on one side
An assembly for producing a corrugated cardboard web laminated on one side includes a first corrugating roller and a second corrugating roller for producing a corrugated web. A glue application device applies glue to peaks of the corrugated web and a pressure belt apparatus which in turn includes a pressure belt for pressing a cover sheet against the glued peaks of the corrugated web which rests against the first corrugating roller. The assembly has a pressure belt engaging apparatus including a pressure belt engaging device which engages downwards at the pressure belt during a corrugating roller change to minimize and/or eliminate downwardly sagging of the pressure belt at least adjacent to the pressure belt engaging apparatus, and at least one displacement device in connection with the pressure belt engaging device to displace the pressure belt engaging device between a pressure belt engaging position and an idle position.
SHINGLING DEVICE AND SHEET PRODUCTION LINE COMPRISING THE SHINGLING DEVICE
The shingling device comprises: a shingling conveyor, adapted to receive a stream of sheets aligned with one another and not overlapping; a braking device, positioned above the shingling conveyor and configured to slow down the sheets arriving to the shingling conveyor, and to partially overlap the incoming sheets in shingling fashion. The braking device comprises: a first set of braking wheels aligned with one another along a first rotation axis orthogonal to a feed direction of the sheets to the shingling conveyor; and a second set of braking wheels aligned with one another along a second rotation axis orthogonal to the feed direction of the sheets to the shingling conveyor.
